Frankly, I wouldn’t have known- or cared about the 1916 company if it wasn’t for Tim Mosso. He’s an absolute gem and legend of the hobby. The 1916 company won the lottery in hiring Tim and I hope he’s handsomely compensated through equity or otherwise. I’ve learned so much from Tim and I enjoy his content because of his passion, his personality and wealth of knowledge. Also, the collector conversations and deep dives on specific topics/watches (like Perpetually Patek) are a joy to watch, not because the topic are interesting in themselves, but because of Tim and Brian Govberg makes them so! Nobody could do it like these guys. Cheers to Tim and Brian
Wesley is a true example of whats bright and positive in our community. Other than him being a true awesome dude, I can't wear anything else on the upper part of my body (since he doesn't make yet pants) raise from his clothes, they're incredible!
Unbelievable! I haven’t seen that Swiss Army watch since I bought my own back in ‘97 for around $300 and change. Wow! Thanks for bringing back some great memories.
Nice collection. Interesting to hear how it evolved from Wesley's childhood. I too am a car guy and a watch guy so I can relate. Love the IWC pieces.. and that Formex really caught my eye. Great episode.

Same
Tim is the real deal!
Thank you for this kind feedback. I'm fortunate to work with a well honed team and many fascinating collectors.
Best,
Tim
Same here.
Tim is so much better than Ben Clymer of Hodinkee. Hopefully he will have some airtime with the watchmakers and collectors-artists like John Mayer.

Greetings from Gladwyne! I love this series, what a great addition to my Saturday mornings. Thank you!
I love Wesley, he’s an amazing human being ❤
Thank you, kind sir! 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Would love to hear Tim talk about Doxa in a Monday episode! Not haute horology but the center of enthusiasm for many watch folks!
Made in China advertising and riding on Cousteau history and great vintage European name.
Huh, I rarely hear criticism of the brand except their lume sucks. Thanks for sharing.
@@TheEasyRail “made in China” and “relying on history” could describe 90% of mainstream luxury watch brands
Love your content! Thank you!

Same, i have it as well and it's still one of the best ones out there!
Wesley and Tim Mosso - doesn’t get much better! 🎉
Bold statement from you, sir! 😃🙏🏼

Nice navy safari jacket, Tim. Did you pick it at The Armoury NY? Also, nice collection Wesley. Love the thougt process behind acquiring the Cartier.
Love Standard H!
Thanks so much for the support!
Now, THOSE are some proper glasses of vodka!
We should be so fortunate. I'm not sure vodka is in the budget, but we might be able to swing some Everclear.
Best,
Tim

32:58 POP Swatch

Wesley looks and sounds like TPG😂
Embarrassed to admit I don’t know what this means!
Obessed with walnut?
Too sad you got sidetracked by the cherokee thing and didn’t let him talk about the BB54 😢
Sold the BBB and missed it. Saw the BB54 one day and realized how much I loved that from Tudor.
