No amount of welfare will undo the abuse of taking their lives. If you really care about the animals, don't be fooled by welfare ploys. It's a distraction from the murder.

+cattlewrangler Easy to see you have a tiny mind. I've worked on a number of dairies so I DO know a little something about cows, and there was absolutely nothing wrong with what he said.
When I worked on the dairies, I would go around petting the cows and playing with them as they were being milked. I never had to use a kicker on a cow. One of the dairies had 2 little Jerseys that were known for kicking when you were cleaning them up or putting the milkers on. It didn't take long, using my method of being decent to the cows, before the Jerseys quit kicking. They didn't kick me at least.

LOL!! The cows are so happy to be finally out of that barn and into the field. I have almost never seen a cow jump. About everyday going to school, the cows are just eating either cud or grass in their fences. But actually I've only seen a ton of deer and squirrels jumping rather than a horse or cow.

@kittensandtheglitz @mallarchy I do agree with both of you. We should change the way we treat our cows (well those who mass produce milk). But you should do your research. There are plenty of farms such as this one that treat their animals properly. most actually keep the calves and put them in a different place that is warmer and safer for the calf. As do most farms now. But also, back in the farming of the old days, the calf was actually taken away and given to the children to take care of.

So much stupidity in the comments of milking videos wish I could respond to it all but let me get this strait unhappy cows produce bad milk also they produce less milk, abuse of cows is very rare its a perfect example of bad apples spoiling the bunch on the farm I work on we have cows that are nearly 6 years old they are hardly slaughtered, the cows love milking or they wouldn't come into the parlour and calves are only taken away from there mothers when they either don't feed there calf, don't want it, don't know what to do with the calf or are to old, so could you idiots please educate yourselves instead of watching 1 or 2 videos of animal abuse and calling all farmers evil most farmers love there cows and get awfully offended when you say that they abuse them.....

+eduardo muhlbier The animal holocaust is no joking matter. Yet willfully ignorant people such as yourself seem to think nothing about the torture and murder of the millions of animals, just so that you can get your Big Mac from McShit. You think animals are here to serve humans. They are NOT!
Why don't you do the world a favor and quit posting imbecilic moronic idiotic comments that do NOTHING to help the situation?
Why don't you go have a veggie burger?
Why don't you have a vegan hot dog? They taste exactly the same as "meat" hot dogs except they aren't made with left over cow/pig/chicken parts, such as entrails, brains, hooves, beaks, eyes, and veins.
Why eat animals when there are alternatives that taste just the same and are much healthier?
Why don't you go watch Earthlings? Cowspiracy? Forks Over Knives?
I'm sure a person with an IQ of 50 could understand these films.
Go ahead and give it a go.
I dare you to SEE what you are really eating!!!

      @boringlazynoob2861 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

+spygal11 Back to the serious comments.First of all i dont eat mcshit. And hate hamburguers or hotdogs. I have netflix of course i watched cowspiracy. Im not a meat lover and i dont think animals live so serve us. i keep a well balanced diet to keep my self healthy. If everyone started eating lees meat, fish and chicken we wouldnt have all this stupid problems.. I went to the culinary school man i know exactly what is the food made of and i have worked in farms so i know how are animals treated. Everyone thinks farmers are evil but thats just bullshit and if you dont believe me go and see with your own eyes... And now cowspiracy its the first documentary that actually made me want to go vegan.. but man you dont need to be vegan to help the planet all you need is eat less meat, go vegetarian keep a well balanced diet and you will be doing yourself and the world a great favor.. and for last commenting on youtube wont change anything.

Seems like a very kind farmer....BUT that doesn't take away from the fact that these cows are used as human servants...to produce milk for some people to enjoy (wealthy people who could afford this kind of milk) and it also doesn't take away from the suffering that the cow goes through when it is slaughtered. Props to the farmer for having somewhat of a heart and not having these cows live a horrible life though.

The farmer seems like a nice enough guy, but the facts are that milk is awful for the human body, we do not need it at all; we need human milk when we're babies, and that is all. Cow's milk is detrimental to human health, and the cow's milk belongs to the mother's calves, not us.
The calves get taken away and killed for beef/veal if they're males, and used for milking if female. :(

@mallarchy Hmmm. I don't know if I agree that absolutely everything we buy has a bad impact on the world. At the very least, we can hugely lessen our negative impact by the choices we make in buying. By avoiding the meat/dairy/egg industry for instance, since they have a bigger negative impact on the environment than mostly anything else. Everything I buy, I buy with greatest possible insight in what impact it has on the environment. You'd be surprised at the difference it makes.

I'm calling them that for using an animal, its body and resources for profit. And like I said, I think it's good there are people who care for their cows. Great, even! I meant no personal offense, because I realise this is likely not a bad person (despite being extremely rude), but the practice itself is extremely ideologically questionable to me.

Calcium alone does not build strong bones. What many are not getting is the essential nutrients that help calcium in its mission. Many people are lacking in Vitamins, C, D, K, Magnesium, Potassium, Iron, Zinc, Boron, Manganese, Phosphorous, Copper and Strontium. We must take these into account to enable bone building. Milk, too much meat and soda drinks increases phosphorous and depletes calcium. So instead it is better to consume calcium-rich foods instead of supplementing the diet with dairy.
