This was my favorite set of all time. As a kid my top 10 cards of set in terms of want were 1 will clark 2 jose canseco 3 mark mcgwire 4 ruben sierra 5 danny tarabull 6 barry larkin 7 barry bonds 8 bo jackson 9 bobby bonilla 10 mike greenwell
Bo Jackson was probably the most pure athlete you will ever see. He dominated football and was great at baseball with a cannon for a arm. If he didn't get that hip injury who knows the accolades he would have accomplished.
One of my very favorites as well for he had a RIFLE for a throwing arm out in right field I remember as a kid watching a game where he caught a fly ball and threw the ball all the way to 3rd base no cut off throw mind you and got another runner out and I mean flat OUT at 3rd base so tell me that won't mind blowing AWESOME !!!
I'm breaking 2 cases of vending boxes.. I just want to see... Not only that but I suspect this set has many SP's (short prints).. I have another two cases ... I have a ton of 87 Topps and I'm certain there are quite a few SSP's in this set.. It's crazy I know, but when I was a kid I couldn't find the cards I needed to make a set so now I'm seeing if my SP suspicions are true.. And yes, I was stupid enough to buy cases of every way these cards were issued: wax, vending, rack and cello - but there is more than that... Look I'm absolutely convinced that there are SSSP's in these junk wax era sets, and I'm finding them, lol..
Hi, I am a confused lady. I need answers. I have been collecting cards from the late 60s to now all sports. In very good condition. Not graded. Looking to sell them. I have maybe 150 thousand. I don't know who to talk to. Thank you. Joan😮
I am a robot. I am reading this off a que card. I have no personality and really have no idea what I speak of. I sound like a vapid, Stepford wife. I am a robot.
While I love this video, very informative , why not just say all cards are worth $15 haha😂 girl literally said every card has an average of $15. This is legitimately not true. I get why she did that tho. Many of these lost value bc of overproduction. Still just an awesome video. Can sell quite a few on this list for $50-$200 range ungraded in MINT condition if ur assuming a 9
So you are telling me that I should go in my attic and dig out my 2 boxes of these junkassed cards that are the worst design by Topps ever and send them to get robbed by psaonly to get a 9, then sell them back for 10 bucks.... Ok, on average at 30 bucks a piece for PSA for grading and 10 bucks to sell them. I lose on average of 20 bucks a card. This is a stupid video! You are better selling them raw except for the very few rookies in a weak unattractive set. Guys I've been buying cards since they were a dime in the early 70s. This is a God-awful set!!! If it reminds you if your childhood, you were born to late and ready to buy cards so expensive that kids couldnt afford anymore as this hobby was made for kids. There's a woodish grain set from Topps from the 1960s that drawf this horrible set! Let's hear the hate comments about the obvious truth...
I wholeheartedly agree with everything you said. The grading card industry is a fucking rip off. I have about 10 1993 SP upper deck Derek Jeter’s, and there’s no way in hell I would send them off to be graded. Maybe, maybe if I have six months to live I would do it. I long for the days when packs of cards were $.10 each and you could buy a box of 36 for $3.60.
no these are all junk wax ------ you are quoting all psa 10 prices, these are on average 9 cent cards if that,...only card is barry bonds... sorry your entire video is long and misleading
As a 44 yr old, this takes me back…my favorite set of all time!! Thanks for the awesome vids!!🙌🏻🙌🏻
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!

Damn man you make us sound old! Lol

The 87 Donruss with Griffey,McGuire, Canseco Bo Jackson was the set
😊 classic set. Heavy production but kids could afford the hobby back then.
I would round up coke bottles and return em for change and buy cards.
Good times.
This was my favorite set of all time. As a kid my top 10 cards of set in terms of want were
1 will clark
2 jose canseco
3 mark mcgwire
4 ruben sierra

9 bobby bonilla

I have this set yet when it comes to my collection I'll be damn if I send them off to get graded. They will always be worth something to me
For sure! The nostalgia is steep with these.
Tomorrow i'm gonna get topps 1987 sealed
Should i Open it or keep it sealed
Great Video, man I remember the smell of the cardboard and feeling that chalky dust immediately after opening the packs 👍🏽
Some of the best memories!
The 1987 set is one of the best! 😎
Agreed!
ONE OF THE BEST YET GOTTA LOVE THIS SET
Great content. Opening 24 box case this weekend
This is the set that got me into collecting when I was 3 or 4 years old!
Great one to start with!
Started collecting baseball in 1987. I know all these and had these. unfortunately don’t have any more. I was 12 then.
Same exact story for me, I just picked up a set of 87s for $20. A trip down memory lane.
Got a lot of these cards autographed…. Love collecting… I’m 46
Crime Dog looks pretty happy in his photo
A young man playing professional baseball? What's not to be happy about?? :)
Great video but I love also be cause my favorite Reggie Jackson appears three times in the 87T set!
Never hurts to have extras of your favorite!
Got Eric Davis, Seaver, and Schmidt
The best:
87 Topps baseball
88 fleer basketball
Really, any year or sport for Fleer...
And 1963 Fleer baseball even came with a cookie!
Nice to see my all time favorite player Gary carter on this list
i`ve got the whole factory set sealed plus a grade gem mint 10 barry bonds and a graded gem mint 10 mark mcgwire . great set
There’s boxes still sitting in warehouse,s.Mass produced. Not even worth 10 cents.

Fantastic proper pronunciation of the names!
That Gwynn card, i always thought they did him wrong just showing the back of his head.
I have every card up to 792 in this set looking to see if any are valuable
Is that your dog i can hear snoring in the background? Or is it my dog? AWESOME VIDS, as always.
lol ... yes, it's our Roscoe. He always has to add his two cents.
That Mike Schmidt ain’t worth Schmidt
Isn't Barry bonds 320 ?
Is record breaker sub set valuable?
do a video of the error cards values please!
Good idea!
This awesome
What about an uncut complete sheet in the box
What is the difference between a Tiffany and the normal one? How do you know the difference?
The Tiffany version has a more glossy look on the cards
Tiffany print run is much shorter and MUCH more valuable.
I have 14 unopened rack packs
I needs dat
i paid 17 bucks when i was kid for the complete set F barry bonds
Topps T-I-F-F-A-N-Y if you lookin for the money, babez.

These 1987 Topps cards are my favorite, but that over-production by Topps just killed the value of our collection. 🥴hence the term “junk wax”.
Yep, overproduction was a problem, but at least that means we can still find those cards we love!
@@WaxPackGods, very true.
Despite overproduction I’m glad I have the Bonds, McGuire, Canseco and the Bo!
Why don’t you say the value in PSA 10 condition? Why is it always 9?
I am a robot. I am reading this off a que card. I have no personality and really have no idea what I speak of. I sound like a vapid, Stepford wife. I am a robot.
It's a junk set. I piced up 5 sets of the entire 1987 Topps baseball for $20 just a couple of years ago.
I have some old Topps Baseball cards never opened with a stick of gum in them. Should I open them?
Absolutely! Slowly…

This is a total joke. I watched 3 cards and that was all I could tolerate. $10 is valuable?

Why do you not mention Dave Cone not David Cones winnner Back to Back World Series with the Toronto Blue Jays, your research is horrible !
Because the writer she has stolen the work from did not

Yes, you were.

Most over produced set ever. Also the year I quit collecting because of it.
Ugly awful cards...
I definitely disagree, but the great part about this hobby is, there's something for ever taste!
Man what an upgrade in quality from the hideous 86 set. Just my opinion.
Both of those years are terrible.
Beauties? These were some of the ugliest Topps ever designed.
