It is one way to give the man his dignity. He feels a sense of dignity by offering the free meal and also understands the value of the international exposure. He will receive increased sales as a result of this video. Now if you don’t live in a poor country you may not understand this as an act of dignity on his part. But trust me it is.

Visit Judpur in India, or Hanoi in Vietnam and ask the vendors who let you taste their street food for free in the markets in Sri Lanka or Marrakesh or Uzbekistan. Perhaps they can help you understand the meaning and importance of dignity to poor working people.
