    First time watching. I like the way you greet everyone by saying good morning!!
    I also agree with you about the meal. It would have been an insult to the person.
    I lived in the UK most of my life. Some persons there do give samples of their food to taste. I have travelled around Africa it is the same.
    Keep up the good work. I am back home and i do not know Guyana!! Thank you for tours, i enjoyed them. I have subscribed!! Be safe.

They're as cool and colorful a people as God ever made. Say hello to Attack, Tburt, Gavin. From the white man from 4mile potaro. Love and miss everyone.

    What a darn cheap skate, he should have given the seller a big tip, what is this nonsense that he doesn't have change

  • @JohnSmith-qq6qy
    @JohnSmith-qq6qy 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    You should pay for the food and drink even if its offered free. Everyone has to make a living.

    • @RaphaelNation
      @RaphaelNation  5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      That’s true but it’s rude to reject a gift especially from someone who lives and works hard in a poor country because you should acknowledge the sacrifices they are making. It is one way to give the man his dignity. He feels a sense of dignity by offering the free meal and also understands the value of the international exposure. He will receive increased sales as a result of this video. Now if you don’t live in a poor country you may not understand this as an act of dignity on his part. But trust me it is.

    • @JohnSmith-qq6qy
      @JohnSmith-qq6qy 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I respect your outlook but I don't agree. People feel dignity when you trade fairly. If this principle was applied small and large then countries like Guyana would do well from their natural resources. Appearing in the video is enough of a gift never mind free food. I would have made a purchase and asked if he was willing to appear in the video. I have experienced poor in a poor country and luckily wealth in a wealthy country. I don't recognise your version of dignity.

    • @RaphaelNation
      @RaphaelNation  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sorry it doesn’t translate. You have to have been the person on the other end. Visit Judpur in India, or Hanoi in Vietnam and ask the vendors who let you taste their street food for free in the markets in Sri Lanka or Marrakesh or Uzbekistan. Perhaps they can help you understand the meaning and importance of dignity to poor working people.

      This is not an entertainment channel Bro. This is an information channel for the whole world not just Guyanese. We don't do skits and comedy. There are other channels doing that.
