he's said previously (early on in his career) that he gets anxiety and isn't comfortable in a lot of settings--it isn't a shame--it's just the way things are and he's aware of it so that's a huge amt of the work done in overcoming the anxiety. anyway, this is the first show where i heard him laugh this way at some of carr's jokes. it's really great. :)

This was one of the best interviews I've ever seen, it's so funny. 4:37 - 4:59 is so wonderful and precious... fat and trickery, chicken and broccoli, he cracks me up and enlightens me, his laugh @ 7:53 is absolutely contagious, he should do more comedy, he's gifted for it. Tom is formidable in almost all of his rolls, what frightens him he emulates... he manages to make what's fearsome palatable, because Tom Hardy himself is delicious.
