Ronin SA's CEO Timm Smith talks about the 5-week Close Protection Course, certification, entry criteria, employment opportunities and career progression post-course
Still to this day, attending the Ronin S.A. Close protection course is one of the best experiences I've had. That's including 8 years in the military and 13 years working within the security industry in Iraq. From the accommodation facilities, location, welfare elements to the live firing, defensive driving, medical package, armed/unarmed combat and the live operation; I can honestly say this course was a truly transformative experience for me personally. Thank you Timm, for creating such a unique experience, I still to this day tell the story of leading the live operation and all the crazy things that happened (none that I can repeat here :) Keep up the good work, all the best, Just another proud Ronin grad - AKA Prince Harry ;)
Hi Paul, I've recently come out of the french foreign legion and now want to go into close protection. I've heard about ronin a long time ago and was wondering if it's still well recommended, i see you've worked in the security buissness for 13 years, would you say there's still good contracts to be found ? I see loads of forum talking about how little work is left in this industry, too many applicants. I want to know if it's worth the money and how sure i can be on getting a job. UK citizen, live in france since 2006. Thank you
Thisnis the best but one of the hardest courses I have ever done. Tim is an absolute gentleman and very knowledgeable along with his staff. Believe want Tim said. If you have any doubts, do not go. You need to be truly focused and determined not only physically but mentally.
Long live Timm. Can you elaborate on the account for the payment, I last check and the bank of Vallarta is the one registered for ronin Europe.. is this the correct account? I'm aspiring to join next year.
Great to see some new content. Been years since you’ve put out an official video.
