Just rewatched this not too long ago and its definitely an underrated film. I do like the original, but I can appreciate this as its own thing and I also really like Mickey Rourke's performance in this movie and wish that him and Stallone had more scenes together.

Meaning Cook's character is really Carter's child because we do see in a tiny scene when he walking with Richardson's character they talk about they use to be together at one point maybe she ended up with his brother. 26:06 Yeah that always bug me a bit on why that had to be so ambiguous? 27:17 I figured he was main guy calling all of shots who Mickey's character was in kahoots with. From what I understand from a few people I use to talk online years ago that's one of the biggest things fans of the original hated about this film how they cast Micheal Caine as the suprise villain and have the new Carter aka Sly kill him off that's like if they did a remake of "Timecop" cast Van Damme as the suprise villain only to have "The Rock/Dwayne Johnson" cast as the new Max Walker kill him off at least that's how I had it explained to me bro lol. But it never bothered me at all. 27:38 To cover up what happened so he's not implicated it in the crime he was going to destory it. Awesome job on reviewing a very underrated and overlooked Stallone flick this character would be precursor to his Dwight character from"Tulsa King" at least to me.
