Hope they will realize band 8 with calling feature but it's also good have no calling feature too. Maybe it's good to have it when you need call an emergency quickly when you can't move a hand probably. The bip 5 look amazing too, curious how the band 8 will look maybe bigger screen if they did bip 5 bigger. It's awesome to wear a band, maybe should wait until they realse a band, Band 7 look beautiful! 🥰 Good review.

Could you please tell me if when you set "Event Reminders" they still show in the phone display in full (say 5-6 word text reminder) even when Bluetooth connection is off between phone and Amazfit? I'm looking to see if I can set reminders while the Amazfit is Bluetooth connected to phone and then show at later stages when disconnected from the phone. Thank you.
I have a Mi Band 3 and it now utilizes the Zepp Life app for sync activities. I really want to upgrade from this but don't find the Mi band 5/6 series listed. I understand that Amazefit now handles the smart bands business for Mi.
My concern being, will my data in the Zepp life app be retained and will be merged with the newly generated data if I move from my current band 3 to let's suppose this amazefit band 7?

@@Poetry4Peace It's actually pretty good, it has all the things you need for a smartwatch, alexa is pretty useful, theres a calendar, app store and watch facce store isn't that good but it has some good options, perfect sized screen with smooth scrolling the only caveat is the always on display uses up A LOT of battery
Are you able to listen you music through you earbud or does you phone have to be on you?
@@traffix0225 No you need to connect it to your phone first, but you can control playback on your phone once it's connected
I believe there is also a Spotify app for the watch where you can choose playlist to play on you phone

I have a Fitbit Charge 5. It died after 1.5 years. Based on the Fitbit forum, this is happening a lot. So yesterday, I decided to buy Amazfit Band 7. I hope it doesn't die after 1.5 years.
