    What is the GREEN STUFF you mention in the video? And why is it necessary?

    • @paweljakubgorecki

      The Green Stuff is a room-temperature curing two-part putty :). It helps with the FIMO (or other thermoset putties) sticking to the wire.

    I’m thinking of making small miniature polymer clay jewellery of cute animals. But seems like it would take too much time to make each one and sell them for an affordable price and have them somewhat standardised. Was hoping you can shed some light into replicating my miniatures. I think I should mention since they are animals they have four legs I’m gonna guess it’s gonna complicate things?

    • @paweljakubgorecki
      @paweljakubgorecki  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi mate!
      Hmmm ... It all depends on how you will create your brand. :)
      You can still make resin copies of the miniatures you will create :). I'm thinking about making a tutorial about casting, but it is a distant future.

    What exactly is green stuff and what is it's purposes? Is it so the modelling clay has something to stick to?

    • @paweljakubgorecki
      @paweljakubgorecki  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello!
      Happy to hear that you want to start sculpting :)
      1. Green Stuff is a two-part self-curing putty :)
      www.greenstuffworld.com/en/55-green-stuff
      2. Yes, you are right. It helps to help the first layer of clay to stick on.
      3. You should try to use thermosetting clay (such as Fimo Soft, or Super Sculpey). There are two reasons:
      The first one - you will get a much better effect than by using air-drying clay. It is just easier to sculpt in them.
      The second one - You can make the break with sculpting, and get back to it when you want to. When you use the air-drying clay, your miniature will dry during the break.
      Let me know if you will need more info :).
