Most of African foods are calorie dense. But remember that until recently our predecessors worked it of with hard manual work and were very fit people. Now we are increasingly sedentary and eating these foods often makes us obese.

This recipe is soooo bad in so many ways. Try another ayikple from another part of the Volta Region. She’s here Lying to the people. We don’t put sugar in the ayikple. She talks about not making sugar soup but adds sugar to the ayikple. ALSO, We don’t eat Ayikple with egusi stew: Egusi stew goes well with rice, yams and plantains. She should have added the coconut juice to the cooked stew, then add the beans and the Tom Brown. If you don’t have Tom brown, She should have roasted the peanuts and grind it, to make the flour. Who adds raw tomatoes paste to the flour??? My lord. Don’t disgrace us Ewe’s o. Please .
