How can a generate an old wallet in Trust wallet with a private key ?
If for example exodus wallet goes out if business and i only know my 12 word seed phrase, how can I access my funds then? Is there any chance that same seed phrase will work on another wallet, if yes what is that wallet?
Hey, which network are you using to store your funds?
If Exodus goes out of business, then yes you can use your seed phrase on another wallet to access your funds.
However, it also depends on what networks that new wallets support, and it should be similar to your Exodus wallet.
For example, if you have BTC in Exodus, you can restore your seed phrase to a BTC wallet to view your funds. If you restore your seed phrase to a wallet that does not support the BTC network (like Metamask or Phantom Wallet), then you would not be able to access your funds

Bip39. Binary to decimal and use the 2048 word list. 🤷

I also have a question attached to it: Does it make difference in terms of asset security, which network I use when depositing crypto in a wallet?
Example: I transfered USDT from Binance to TrustWallet by using BSC(BEP20). What if Binance has any problems and ceases to exist (and so as their network BSC BEP20). Would my USDTs be gone as well?
Hey, when you send USDT via BEP20, you are actually sending the Binance-Peg version, which is actually a wrapped version of USDT. USDT originally exists as ERC20, so what happens is that you are actually depositing ERC20 USDT to a wallet address owned by BNB Chain (or Binance, the distinction is not that clear), and you will receive Binance-Peg USDT that is a wrapped version of USDT on BEP20.
In the event that Binance does go down, there is a chance that BEP20 will go down too. You may not be able to redeem your BEP20 USDT back to ERC20 in this case.
