    Thanks. This video was more helpful than the manuals that came with the product.
    It's useful to know that the drain hose Is optional. The manuals didn't explain this.
    However, if you don't use the hose, you must ensure the tip of the hose Is properly connected to the valve that points upwards towards It. This drains the water into the reservoir at the bottom of the machine. I had taken the hose out (because the manuals didn't make clear what I was supposed to do with It) and not put It back properly. My reward was a flooded kitchen the first tme I used the dryer. Also, as the manual did say, the first few times the water drains down below and not into hthe tank in the door, which stays empty.

    Thank you for the honest review. It was good to see all parts of the machine and how it works instead of just reading reviews. I will now go ahead and purchase this tumble dryer. Thanks again!

    Thanks for your clear demonstration. We were slightly confused about the pipe supplied but you explained that we actually don’t need it unless plumbing it in. Very helpful, thank you.

    Great video I have this dryer. You could have shown the lower filter at the bottom of the machine though also as it must be cleaned as well as the top filter or the machine quickly loses drying ability. My dryer always dries perfectly and is very quiet too.

    I have a heat pump unfortunately it’s broke down at the moment keeps saying (F4) unfortunately I need an engineer for this issue as a temperature sensor has gone.
    It will be fixed this week coming hopefully 🤞🏻
    And when it does work it’s really good but like your self I found synthetic cycles well “minimum iron” on mine! was disappointing results even after a 2nd dry…
    So I just put everything on cotton normal or plus and everything comes out dry first time! And it didn’t shrink anything doesn’t even get that hot it’s like it’s constantly on low heat. But it does its sensing thing then my time is usually reduced to just over a hour by the machine and clean the screens in water once a month make sure they’re always see through! And the filter I wash under a tap too! My filter at the bottom covering the coils was looking old so bought a new one, and the day I put it in an hour later it broke down 🤦🏻‍♂️🙄😂
    They are so good on electricity ⚡️ 26p per hour up to 29p per hour at the most! My old dryer was over 86p per hour… was quicker but not much so I really like them. And I was skeptical at first but yeah it’s so good the energy was my main focus above all else.
    Pretty expensive to buy compared to a normal vented/condenser dryer but definitely worth it especially now days with electricity and gas prices.

      Hi!
      Personally I wouldn’t recommend buying this one, I would say save a little more money and buy a better one as after 7 months of use I have found it takes ages for clothes to dry in this tumble dryer! Perhaps because it’s energy efficient therefore not as powerful!?
      Perhaps other viewers can recommend good tumble dryers below..?!

    • @strassix8297
      @strassix8297 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@allthingsmumlifeuk6929 Make sure your cleaning the condenser filter at the bottom each month as it gets filled with fluff and lint. Not doing so can decrease efficiency meaning it takes more time, money and electricity to dry your clothes. Please carry simple maintenance on your appliances to help them last longer and increase efficiency. Just simply run it under the tap or in your shower.

      MrsHomeMakerUK hi there,
      So with this Candy Heatpump dryer it has a compressor such like a fridge/freezers has to use a keep the fridge/freezer cold so before plugging a fridge/freezer in it is recommended to leave it staying for at least 4hours for the gas to settle as it can damage the appliance if not done correct.

    It's an OK machine when working but expect high costs for repair when out of the 12 months warranty. It came with a 10 years Parts warranty but the £125 call-out fee to be able to use it makes the offer almost worthless. Our machine failed after 15 months of light use (2 person household). Warranty call-out ends after 12 months. I was offered a 1-year maintenance plan for £190 but the machine cost £195 at Currys...so at 15 months old it costs almost more to repair than to replace.....not that I would - 15 months and dead?

    • @Mummabear543
      @Mummabear543 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes and I have noticed the more items in the tumble dryer the harder it is for them to dry and I never fully load it or it just wouldn’t dry them!
      It’s worth noting this for buyers looking specifically for a large load tumble dryer, this wouldn’t do the job!

      Ours is 3-4 years old & suddenly has stopped drying clothes-no water in the tank & doesn’t heat up-cleaned all the filters-a repair guy told me on the phone not to waste money on call out charge-according to him it’s like having a whole engine replaced in a car so his advice was to buy a new one-definitely not a heat pump one.
      Did you get yours fixed or replaced?

  • @mazartistry

    These are really bad tumble dryers. They take ages to dry and the one my son had make such a loud noise like there was trainers in the drum! Don’t waste your money!! Candy wanted £129 to send out an engineer 😳 The Indesit EcoTime is much better - I know because I got one.

    • @allthingsmumlifeuk6929
      @allthingsmumlifeuk6929  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Maria!
      Thank you for leaving your feedback on this tumble dryer!
      I am glad you said about it taking so long and being so loud as this has confirmed what I have been experiencing using it!
      However I must say it hasn’t broken or had any issues! Yet..! I don’t like the sound of a £129 engineer visit that sounds crazy high! So hopefully it will stay fine as it is now!
      I will have a nosey at the Indesit EcoTime one you mention as I’m curious to see the difference between the machines!

      MrsHomeMakerUK
