- Five-times Gold Cup winner, David Jefferies "DJ" will always be remembered by Olivers Mount race fans for his fun-loving attitude and all-out riding style, particularly his high-speed wheelies down the Back Straight and over the Jump towards the end of the bottom straight, which has since been renamed 'Jefferies Jump' in memory of the road racing legend.

Lovely film; just shows his fun and talented character. Certainly one of the most naturally gifted riders ever. He was born to be a part of motorcycle racing.

NO DOUBT ABOUT IT DJ COULD RIDE A MOTORBIKE. WAS A MASTER ON THE ROADS AND GOOD ON THE CIRCUITS WHEN HE GOT THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT.
