- The Grand Canyon is 277 miles long, up to 18 miles wide and attains a depth of over a mile (6,093 feet or 1,857 meters).
The canyon and adjacent rim are contained within Grand Canyon National Park, the Kaibab National Forest, Grand Canyon-Parashant National Monument, the Hualapai Indian Reservation, the Havasupai Indian Reservation and the Navajo Nation. The surrounding area is contained within the Baaj Nwaavjo I'tah Kukveni - Ancestral Footprints of the Grand Canyon National Monument. President Theodore Roosevelt was a major proponent of the preservation of the Grand Canyon area and visited it on numerous occasions to hunt and enjoy the scenery.

Nana and Poppy here. We live in AZ and have been to the Grand Canyon many times (actually how we met). We've spent a lot of time on both the North and South rims and the space in between. The canyon is so beautiful from the top looking down and from the bottom looking out. Truly spectacular. Thanks for the great content.
Hey guys thank you for sharing, that is an absolutely incredible place to meet. We’ve only been to the south rim and the west rim but it’s on our list to hit the north rim and we have yet to go down inside the Grand Canyon. That’s also on our list lol
