    Mats Sundin is such a classy guy. Just a super quality person. The Swedes sure know how to raise their kids.
    Look at the modesty in guys like Mat and Lidstrom and Naslund, to name a few. All great character guys.

    There is no better Leaf player in history at rising to the occasion and scoring a goal when we needed it most. Our hero in Toronto for so many years.

    Sundin was a hell of an impact player. He could take over a game quickly.

    As a swede you'd be glad to see nice comments about Sundin, dont get me wrong, it is. But dont take anything away from Max Domi. Super classy himself and really respectful. Eventho they've known each other for most of Max life, he still adresses mats as "sir". Also pains me to write this since he plays for the habs, but yeah, Max is also a Classact basically.

    Mats left a big big hole when he left. A total class act. These Leafs could use a little of what YOUNG Domi brings to the game. Maybe his physicality would add a spark to this group. Hes' not Domi the elder or Tiger Williams/Colton Orr/John Kordic etc You don't miss much with him offensively. Good hands, good instincts, excellent in the corners and around the net. Would you trade Nylander for Domi straight up?

    • @ceezare3039
      @ceezare3039 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      In a heart beat, MTL would probably ask for a tad more, I couldn't see a straight up swap one for one

    • @dylanjones268
      @dylanjones268 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@ceezare3039 Nylander for Domi? You think Montreal would want more? I bet they would take that trade in a heartbeat. Its not that they don't love Domi for what he brings, its that they need scoring and Nylander gives them that. I think salaries would be an issue but they would and could find a way to make it work. Domi should be on a scoring line, battling in the corners creating havoc in front of the net, I don't think Montreal is using him in the best way. He's capable of scoring, good passer and knows how to irritate the opposition. As a Leaf fan, he's exactly the type of player my team needs..

    No sport compares to hockey with the amount of kids of NHLers become NHLers themselves. Baseball has a couple, but no where near hockey.

    • @js09js09
      @js09js09 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That is both a positive and a negative. Positive for the sentimental aspect. Negative because it indicates that hockey is a "rich family sport". Registration costs and equipment costs are very expensive. Then if you want to enroll your kid in specialized training (for example, skills camps or skating camps), then that is a lot more money. Many average families can't afford to put their children through hockey for 15 years. Many families struggle to pay mortgage and rent nowadays.
