“Two Questions” Visualisation and feel come from experiencing them both in a positive mindset, memory of a good shot and feel, putting positivity, this is like a golf TED Talk TH-cam video. Great concept and very helpful for every level of golfer.
I'm learning so much from this series. As a golf nerd I could listen to Karl talk a little all day he seems very knowledgeable! Looking forward to the next episode :D two questions.
love this intro, puts me in a good mood watching this. copy of the book for be class as i am thinking about pushing to do my PGA and become a teaching pro so this would help with my knowledge
When I had sky sports I would watch out for who was making putts between 6 to 9 foot for par .then I would keep an eye on that and back them for the majors . won a few because.great video don't watch the full coverage anymore and this guy hit nail on the head highlights are very focused on long puts good approach and not a wide range of players great vid as usual Pete.
Great video Peter, will defiantly need to put this in practice and spend more time on the putting green than the range. My two questions are: 1: How do you know what length putter is best suited for you? 2: How often should a putter change happen in your bag?
What mindset is necessary for good results and to enjoy? Does the same question work for other types of shots? Great video excited to put all these skills in my game
Two questions Does grip thickness take away/add feel or is it a personal preference? What length of putts should you everyday amateur club golfer spend more time on? Under 10ft 10-20ft etc etc (I feel 6ft and in would be best as that's where you are sort of expected to hole from) Thanks
Now of course the pros are often playing on pristine greens rolling 12 on the stimp. I am playing on maybe good greens rolling inconsistently from 7 to 10 on the Stimp depending on the quality of course following people who think fixing pitch marks are below them. Bet the averages on these are a lot lower. Fun video.
Nice video. The single biggest mistake in putting, good players or beginners, is their backswing is waaay too long. They invariably end up decelerating, leading to inconsistent speed and putts that wander off line.
Great video Pete .👍one question I would ask, instead of why am I doing that, would be what can I try to fix it. Next question would be, where do I gain those extra strokes from in a round. , and what do I need to do to change that . love your videos peter. Keep em coming! ☺
Crazy stats. The pros tend to hit approaches closer more consistently. I wonder what the % is of pro centre of fairway to being within 12foot from 200 in is. That would be interesting to know?
There are almost as many theories as there are golfers, some theories are better than others, but non is a holy grail. So take your holy grail with a pinch of salt!
Hello Mr. Finch, New subscriber here. Enjoy your videos, as I go back through your videos over the years to find tips to help my game. What videos or lessons you have filmed in the past would you not recommend? Or that you don’t believe in as your game has changed? Just trying to get the most out of your experience and expertise I can get. Do you still do the Justin Spieth drill? Or any of the older putting drills you recommended in the past? Thanks again for your time spent making these videos.
Charles McKenna id recommend watching all of the videos 😂 no I think the early ones are a bit cringey but I always started trying to make as quality content as poss
Two questions Should green grid books be banned? Open, square or closed stance for putting or is it just personal preference ? You certainly proved those stats to be correct Peter bearing in mind as you move away you knew the line but still didn't drop one where as in 'real' time we only get one chance to read and feel the putt . Nice video Pete .
Two questions... Pete, do you choose your line once you feel the pace ? I know someone who chooses the line before he decides the pace. I'd always want to die the putt in. What's your preference ? Cheers
For me it's a feeling, I always struggled with trying to utilize perfect technique. The last couple of years I've been focusing on a feeling of rhythm and grip. What kind of "feeling" does Pete have when putting? My old coach has the yips, and I kind of think he's given up on trying to get rid of it. Can you change this after so many years?
If Carl's motto to life is about a full filled life is about asking the good quality questions. Mine is can't is the word of a man who has already been defeated. PS two questions
65% from 6 feet? about 5 years ago it was only 50% from 6 feet. Putting on the PGA TOUR has gotten better (unless you're using stats from the PGA European Tour)!
Two questions. One answer: 😉 My best tip ever, is actually an exercise adapted from my shooting days. Set up with you putter behind the ball. When ready to put and the ball is centred on the putter, lift the putter slightly off the ground. Close your eyes and count to ten. Then open your eyes and check if the ball is still in the centre of the putter. If not, you were forcing your body into position and the body will move back towards the "relaxed position" and you will hit the ball off centre. Try it.
one of the best instructions I have seen in a very long time. Thank you for your help.
How has this not got more views?! Advice at its best
I really like the mindset of being hard on yourself on the range and easy on yourself on the course. Two questions.

Great to have solid statistical information to put putting success rates into perspective. Interesting piece, thanks!

Two questions. But I actually have two. 1. Can you do a putting drill video and 2. What is the most memorable putt you have ever made.
The whole mind set aspect is something I need to work on as I'm definitely too hard on myself on the course. Two questions
Two questions?
Is oversize better for larger hands or all size hands?
Which grip style is better, left hand low or standard right hand low?
Lots of times I just zone out mentally before a putt and I have no idea why. I can see now because I’m not asking myself how to make it
two questions. im going to give this a go thanks
I tried this today and it works very well no 3 putts today. 28 putts for 18 holes is good for me

Two questions, thought provoking.
Who do you think creates the best putters, and, who do you think is the best putter on tour (technique as we can try and replicate)
Good tips
Nice video. The single biggest mistake in putting, good players or beginners, is their backswing is waaay too long. They invariably end up decelerating, leading to inconsistent speed and putts that wander off line.

Interesting video, the stats for 6 foot putts surprised me, thought they'd be a bit higher
Crazy stats. The pros tend to hit approaches closer more consistently. I wonder what the % is of pro centre of fairway to being within 12foot from 200 in is. That would be interesting to know?
Two questions...Can I see the line of the putt? Can I feel solidly anchored before I make my stroke?
There are almost as many theories as there are golfers, some theories are better than others, but non is a holy grail. So take your holy grail with a pinch of salt!
Thoughts on SeeMore putters?
Is it okay to putt with a glove on?
I can see the line or path the ball needs to travel but cannot figure out pace
