This was very well done. I've been in Multiple accidents but the worst one was back when my daughter was 6 years old.
Someone made an Illegal turn Infront of me at an intersection and caused my Van to T-bone them. My airbags deployed and the front of the vehicle was crushed in at me. I immediately took off my seatbelt and realized I couldn't open my door. But my daughter was in the backseat crying so I just went on pure adrenaline and climbed into the back to unhook her and get her out of the car. I got her to the side of the road and safe. Someone asked me to sit down until paramedics could get there but I knew if I sat I wasn't getting back up. 😅 I went back to the wreck to pull out my purse from the mangled mess and grab my insurance card. As I am walking back to the sidewalk I catch a glimpse of myself in a vehicles side mirror. There is just a long trail of blood coming from my forehead and what I thought was a big wet spot on my black shirt I figured was my drink spilling on me. (Spoiler Alert. It was not) I didn't even own a Cellphone at the time so I had to use the guy who caused the wrecks phone. I start to hear the Ambulance and make my way back to the side of the road, now becoming really agitated over how wet my shirt was..
Someone asked me if I was okay again and I said "Yeah. My shirts just soaked with water see." As I tried to wrung out the bottom of the shirt I'm super confused as the liquid being squeezed out is an odd shade of Red. I look shocked, the people helping my daughter look shocked and I saw the Paramedics and my Mother both coming towards me and all I could do was tell the onlookers was to keep my daughter from seeing me as I collapsed on the ground. Next thing I know I'm getting stitches in the side of my ribcage and my head hurts. I found out later I collapsed from the pain when the adrenaline ran out. A few of my ribs on the left side had shattered during the impact and one of them splintered out of my chest. I completely ignored it as I was focused on the safety of my child and making sure everything was handled. 😅 My mother yelled at me for weeks after that. The Cops thought I was high on something but my tox screen came back 💯 clean. The other driver got arrested due to not having a license and I got another used car out of the insurance money. In short. Anything can happen in a wreck
