A really great review. I used the chair this past week at a quilting retreat between sessions, about two to three times a day, and I didn't even know about the extra setting under the panel! I fell head over heels for this chair. I am 74 and love body massages, but choose to not pay the cost on a regular basis. She said Ebay had the best price for her, but you need to check for yourself. The owner has the retreat center and a B&B. She had four chairs, used a whole lot by customers over a 5 year period without any issues. I'm looking forward to ordering one as soon as I can convince my husband of the value. Thanks again for the great review. God bless you.
I just purchased the chair, assembly is pretty simple except we can't figure out where the attachment is to plug the heater cord in that's on the back pad
hey! congrats on the purchase, mine is still functional and works well to this day, even years later. Anyway, use your hands to feel around the armrests and the back cushions, there will be a plug you will notice that is sticking out and is not connected to anything. mine was tucked in the sides of the chair during shipping, let me know if you locate it.

Great, informative video. I just recently discovered these more affordable chairs and am deciding between this one and perhaps another one called Real Relax. Not many videos on the Real Relax. Your video may eventually sway me towards the Best Massage chair. I like how you mention it’s good on the neck if you remove the pad as most of these chairs seem to be more about the back and legs. I have a massage pad that sits on a chair and kneads and rolls with heat. Would you say this chair is more effective than that when it comes to back massage (meaning aside from the other body part features)? Also, is the chair still holding up? Thanks.
Hey buddy!!, thanks for watching, I am actually tying this comment reply from the chair right now, hahaha. Mine has help up very well, and with pretty regular use. The roller system in this is exceptional, I would say it's identical to the ones you used to be able to test out at BROOK STONE for 3.-5K. The five different massage setting are all unique and you can also adjust the width and intensity of the rollers. I like the slower speed with the shiatsu on mostly the lower back. Based on your level of recline you can also put more pressure on the rollers with your back, I tend to pick it up form the normal recline position, that was you can watch TV or use your laptop (like I am right now). They have gotten cheaper too recently.
Can you just leave it in the reclined position and watch TV, or is there always a timer going on that will kick you out of the reclined position then the time is up? Also how's it holding up durability wise?
Hello, yes the timer is always on when it's reclined or the heat is on. Not a big deal, you can set the max time for 30 minutes each time. Durablity has been great, to this day, nothing has malfunctioned and it's not even noisy.

hi!! I tried all the high end ones at Costco and brook stone, they are not much better then this one. The MAIN difference in the higher priced ones is the REAL LEATHER. Otherwise in terms of the roller and air bag massage mechanism they seem to be similar. Mine is almost 3 years old since I've got it, no issues at all. The heat function is great for winter time too. they also are even cheaper not on eBay than I paid originally.
hey! mine is positioned about 2 feet away when measuring from the backrest. In reality you will never fully recline it, it's pointless, I don't anyway. Theres no need for a full recline for a massage, that's just a gimmick. The standard recline the chair does is pretty good as is, you can do more if you want though. Personally I raise the backrest up after it goes into it's standard recline mode anyway. This whole full recline thing is just a marketing commercial trick, they make you focus on the recline instead of actually useful massage features. This chair has all the massage features you will want.

It's advertised on ebay now (item 133363406054) as having a "SL Track Frame Structure", which means that the rollers should go all the way from the neck to under the seat including the rear and upper thighs, but the reviews say it's only a S track. @@jeffk9658 hello, I just checked this listing out, and it's exactly the same chair that I have. I can 100% confirm for you that the rollers are only in the backrest of the chair. To be honest with you, they are extremely good in all modes and go way down to your tailbone and if you remove the head cushion they go all the way up to where your head is on top of the chair. The seat cushion only have airbags, one for the butt and 2 on the side for the things. Most f the time I use the Manual only mode and select air bags for the feet and only use the shiatsu massage, I rarely use the seat cushion features, or the air airbags. The heat function in cold weather is terrific, it will warm you up right away. BTW, I have some other videos of this chair on my channel, check them out.
Does anyone know how to reset the chair. The chair has been working great but for some reason it believes it has not returned to its home position. I am sure the chair is still fully functional but I am stuck at startup with an error message.
I would say that up to 280 pounds is very safe for this chair (biggest person I had in this chair and nothing broke.) The width of the rollers is fairly wide and it does a good enough job on the back muscles (but not all the way out on the shoulders).

I mostly want to get a massage chair to loosen up my calves, which are often tight and tender for a few days after I've been taking long walks or bicycle rides for several days. I read somewhere that they're not suitable for someone over 6 foot 1 inches tall. I'm just over 5'10" but have long legs for my height so would expect to need one that fits someone 6ft or 6ft plus, given that I want to be targeting my calves especially. Would you mind telling me how tall you are please. Also, how well it might treat tight/sore calves in your opinion?
hello, I'm 5' 11". You're not going to have a issue, the leg extension stretches out a few inches and worst case scenario you will just have your knees bent a few degrees. You're calves will still be in the massage zone where the multiple airbags will do their job. You will be surprised how effectively the air bags grab and squeeze all around the calves and feet. I've had people who are 6' 1" try this chair, no complaints at all. I'm actually writing this response to you from the chair right now and using the heat and lower back massage rollers. LOL.

thats the best part, the mid to lower back areas. If you use the manual mode you can adjust the roller width, speed and massage type to pinpoint you preferred areas. Although the heat is only on the footbed and the sides of your back, still fine.

yes, its two tracks with two rollers per track. So basically four separate massage points on the back of the chair. Very good range of motion too, easily does the lower back and neck areas if you want.

tallest I've seen try this chair was a 6 foot 1inch person so far. They had no problem with it. Only issue is the foot extension was at its limit for them. I really doubt an extra inch here or there would make it uncomfortable for you.
Hi, the massage is quite vigorous, the rollers literally go from the top of your neck to the tail bone. You can adjust width and speed of the rollers as well. There is a foam insert in the back cushion for some more comfort, you can remove it if you want to really be tortured, LOL. AND btw the airbags on the feet and arms are hella strong too-can also be adjusted.

Very easy to assemble too, you'll need at least 2 people to carry it in, it was shipped on a pallet and left outside the house.

YEs, you can just sit in this normally with the massage functions off and have it be reclined a little. Pretty comfy with just the heat function on in the winter.

hey buddy!! Nope, I have not. I need my bed to fall asleep, LOL. But the chair is very comfy, and it's timer controlled, you can't set it to longer than 30 minutes anyway.

Hi, the massage is quite vigorous, the rollers literally go from the top of your neck to the tail bone. You can adjust width and speed of the rollers as well. There is a foam insert in the back cushion for some more comfort, you can remove it if you want to really be tortured, LOL. AND btw the airbags on the feet and arms are hella strong too-can also be adjusted.

Glad to help!!!, BTW I'Ve recommended this char to a few close friends and family, nobody has had issues. and sometimes the prices are around 550 on eBay, this past New Years was the time to buy. Very easy to assemble too, you'll need at least 2 people to carry it in, it was shipped on a pallet and left outside the house.

YEs, you can just sit in this normally with the massage functions off and have it be reclined a little. Pretty comfy with just the heat function on in the winter.

hey buddy!! Nope, I have not. I need my bed to fall asleep, LOL. But the chair is very comfy, and it's timer controlled, you can't set it to longer than 30 minutes anyway.
@@hybrid32494 I have not tried this model of massage chair but I do own a lazboy recliner. I almost always fall asleep in my recliner in minutes.
I can't say that I had the same experience with this chair.
what happened with yours?
The controller stopped working after using it 4 times. No response from the seller, which is a common complaint with this chair.
If you ever have any problem with the chairs, you can always call 770-272-9511 customer service line. If you don't get any response, you can call the actual Store at 678-691-6014 or 470-257-7006. Very friendly and helpful staffs and there is no machine automated sytem .

hello, you can buy this chair in a few locations. I purchased mine on eBay (just do a search for the model #). You can also buy it through newegg.com. Let me know how your search goes. Make sure to look for free shipping, because that can be a lot of added extra cost.
