Long time listener first time commenter. I’ve actually never commented on any TH-cam video before. I just wanted to support a point you made about Miles Morales. I am an 8th grade ELA teacher. I created a 6 week unit in which we use the character of Miles Morales to study Language Arts. It mainly focuses on the Bendis run and the Spiderverse films, but also looks at the Jason Reynolds novel Suspended. We study things like symbolism and theme in narrative writing while looking at concepts such as intersectionality and representation. The students love it. But what I wanted to talk about is how right you are when you say that Miles just hits different than the All New All Different Marvel stuff. We actually use some of the other examples you have given to talk about the dangers of representation when done poorly. (Full Disclosure. I actually like The Mighty Thor, however.) And this is a point I have heard you talk about before. It is important to make a distinction between being against representation and being against it being done poorly. I believe whole-heartedly in the importance of representation in film and literature. I also agree with you that we all just want to read and watch compelling stories. (I feel like I have herd you say something like that before.) Miles Morales is proof that you do not have to sacrifice one for the other. I hope the MCU uses this character as a springboard to start getting representation right in their films.
Every single Disney plus show has had some sort of "leak" talking about a crazy cameo that never happens. So I definitely think Thanos will be back but there's no way it will be in Agatha
I like the Doom's Illuminati idea for a Thanos return. Thanos, Ultron, Hela, Dormamu.
I hope Thanos returns both as King Thanos to see the epic scene of God Emperor Doom just deleting him from existence, and as Kid Thanos working under Doctor Doom. A multiversal masters of evil: Kid Thanos (could be played by Harry Styles to show a “family resemblance”); Killmonger (whether he’s in the form of a celestial like in the comics or Michael B Jordan comes back and his suit resembles his celestial body from the comics); Dark Phoenix could be the cosmic general for Doom played by Famke Jansen; Ultron played by James Spader will return and be in charge of technological matters; and finally either Clea or Baron Mordo to have a magical/supernatural general, where if it is Clea she will be the leader of the Black Swans.
I also think Spiderman will end up stepping up big as a leader in the coming Avenger films. He will be putting the new tran together after those two films, and he will be ready for his last run of films and acting as the retiring mentor figure. Since his hiring, he's already been spiderman for 10 years

I want Tom Holland's Spider-Man to go up against the MCU's native versions of the full classic Rogue's Gallery for Spider-Man before he ends his run as Peter Parker. So far, we have had Vulture, Shocker, and Mysterio (and a pre-Scorpion Gargan), the Tinkerer, and the Prowler. That's it. I appreciate them bringing in the multi-verse versions of Doc Ock, Green Goblin, Lizard, Sandman, and Electro, and Mysterio having illusions of Hydro-man, Sand-Man, and Molten-Man. However, I want to see MCU native versions of these characters go up against the MCU Spider-Man along with the following:
- Doc Ock, Green Goblin/Hob Goblin, Scorpion, Rhino, Sandman, Electro, Hydro-Man, Molten-man, Chameleon, Lizard, Kraven, Smythe, Venom, Carnage, Hammerhead, Tombstone, and Kingpin.
He also needs to interact with Daredevil (in the suit), Fantastic 4, the X-Men, the Punisher, and Black Cat.
For the native versions of the No Way Home villains, it would be cool to see Peter Parker meet these people and realise in horror that, for example, Norman Osborne or Otto Octavius are heading down their dark paths and he is trying to stop it as Peter Parker and ultimately has to face of against them as Spider-Man.
Many of the villains don't need an origin story and could be introduced as working for the likes of Kingpin. I would actually like to see a situation where Kingpin is actually responsible for taking out Hammerhead and Tombstone because they are trying to take over his criminal empire.
Give me this, Marvel, and I will be happy with Spider-Man in the MCU.

Thanos in Agatha would be appropriate since Mistress Death is there. Perhaps, Agatha refuses to be Death's pawn again and decides to help Billy resurrect Wanda and in her refusal, Death returns the one person who "took everything" from Wanda and wants him back on the board doing what he does best.
Or even in her refusal, Death tells Agatha it matters not as she has "many" lovers that can replace her and then we see Thanos... possibly even Deadpool.

Why would they need to pass a baton to Miles Morales? He never replaces Peter Parker and Holland can do this for another 30 years. Miles is a cool character, but hes not a central character in the same sense as Peter Parker.

And with a limited number of films being plausible compared to comics, i doubt theres enough market for 2 different spider characters having their own films. Plus Peter Parker is just legend. He can carry the MCU , doubt Miles could.

If Thanos is returning then it's 100% Doom as the hidden evil emperor of the entire multiple universe basket.
From what was said from a specific comic book, Doom was feared by many evil villains, Thanos include, and by heroes. No one knew who this evil emperor was. Basically Doom is Beerus from Dragon Ball Super TV series. In the previous series, Dragon Ball Z, Freeza and King Vegeta feared this being. We never see Beerus in DBZ due to his random pop up nature behind the scenes and because he sleeps for hundreds of years.
So even though Robert Downey is playing Doom, the true Cosmic Emperor known as Doom might be sometime down the road.
I dont think Jane was the issue with love and thunder. I didn't mind it, they somehow went fairly close to comic accurate with the look and story ..but the issue was Gore. Tika ruined Gore, one of the best villians in the marvel comics, for sure in Thor. They dropped the ball and marvel shouldn't have allowed it to happen. Wild choice
