I agree completely. Latocha has no control over her voice IT CONTROLS HER. You would think after all these years she would have gotten a vocal coach to smooth that out. Beyonce had that same problem (early in her career with Destiny's Child) vibrato all over the place. But you see now she had control over it.

During the time when Xscape didn’t have Kandi (2018)…. I don’t think they were as successful as they are now. They put out music but no tour

Update: As of 3/30/2023- Latocha Scott has stated on an interview that she is still a member of the group Xscape. Also, we have learned that the Scott Sisters mother, Gloria has stated on television in front of millions of people, that she is the 5th member of Xscape. 🤩
**Update-As of 3/29/2023- We have learned Mrs. Diane Cottle is really the 5th Member. She has receipts to prove it too.
As of 4/2/2023- Latocha is no longer apart of this group which bumps Mrs Diane’s place up to 4, because The Scott Sister’s mother GLORIA left to go pursue LATOCHA’s career as a GOSPEL recording Artist. Also, Heiress is on standby and will fill in as needed. 😘

The reason their sound doesn’t lack in my opinion is because it wasn’t a true 4 part harmony (soprano, alto, tenor, baritone) like the Clark sisters-
Xscape was (tenor, alto 2, alto 1, sorprano) so now they have a true 3 part harmony instead of a 3.5 or heavily weighted alto section. Kandis tenor tone was thick enough to have weight that’s why when she’s gone WE CAN TELL

UFFF This what you call a showww! I love all 4 of them but for some reasons they sounded cleaner with the 3 of them they killed this show. Kandi sang verrryy well she did very good, Tameka killed it and TINNNNYYY wooow she stood out the most in this peformance sheee is suchhhh a greaaattt Vocalist hands down. Upcoming groups can learn a loottttt from this ladies realy.

I honestly agree with your comment. It’s like Kandi and Tiny had a lot more confidence and overall the three of them have more fun than they do when it’s four. They all sound great and it was definitely cleaner vocally. I also was able to enjoy this without that awkward tension that they have when the fourth member performs. We love Tocha and I would love to see her back with the group if they can have this much fun and sound so clean.
Pay attention to the show. They were messing up and trying to make up for Tasha missing. They sound good but I'm a true fan so I can tell.

Tamika’s voice has gotten a pinch rough in her upper belts but she is really showing how much she can still blow and in different ways by singing her sister’s parts. She is approaching and hitting notes in ways different than her normal attack style

No it’s not! They are killing it and the energy is so good no tension. Now if kandi leaves they are in trouble because none of them can do her tenor. Tiny and her sister is killing her parts. You can tell a little in some of the harmony parts but it sounds very good and clean.It is clear that she was the problem and the cause of most of their issues and tension. Now that she’s gone they’re even having more fun they’re hanging out together they are blossoming as a group. And I hope she see how wild they do without her so that she can get her act together

I remember after they broke up, the three of them sat together dressed alike and she sat far away from them dressed in black lmao

They attended award shows together too and they even did events together as well. It’s very rare to find, but here’s an example. They did BET soundstage together as a trio.
