I have microG but it is not updated cuz it has been stop by the developers.
So, how is this different from just using microG or lighthouse to allow installs and enable notifications ? If we still have no access to play store and play services, I don't see the point.

First of all, thank you for the simple explanation. My Push Notification program does't work and the message "Please recreate your api key" appears.It worked at first but then stopped. What would be your suggestion?
To repeat the steps because in that way notifications won't work but if you don't mind just use it 👍

Keep in mind notifications need 2-3 days to adapt

Hello, I followed all the instructions and it's very useful. However, I do not understand why we need to deactivate Google Play Store Data consumption from 9:49. Afterwards, it is troublesome to install APK packages and some of them crash for no reason.... Wasn't it possible to install Applications (other than google services) directly from the Google play store that we had installed just before?
Yes, you can install everything from the play store before the last step but we removed play store background data because otherwise play services will be updated and notification errors will start.
do you enable google background data after you get all apps installed so you get all of the notifications, and then delete them after they all come in?? my second question is, can i delete the green push notification app that is used as a test? please let me know and thank you for your knowledge, sir. i dont want to keep the push notification app if its only for testing. do we need it due to being web app api and needing that app to push notifications? @@SystemHacks

Can you please clearly state in the desciption or title of this video, for which versions (Global or Chineese), which OS (Harmony OS 2, 3, 4?) or EMUI this works? You will spare people a lot of time for looking for that...

The Google Services enabler at 4:03 is pointless for me, therefore blocking me access to Google services entirely. This is because the app says "sorry, your device is not supported" so looks like I can't continue with the process. Any advice?

Hello, so with your solution I cannot use playstore in any case..right? I am just worried about some apps that are specifically released by my bank, I don't know if I can find apk of them.. perhaps I could try to use the playstore sometimes and If it updates the framework I could uninstall it and put file nr 10 in again? or do you think this would be not possible?
You can try whatever you want but Play services will break at some point but as you mentioned you can repeat the steps 👍

So what's the difference between installing the native google services on a Huawei device and installing apps through G-Box? Is one better than the other? I'm waiting on my huawei mate 60 pro plus to come in and am trying to understand which of these options would be better? Ultimately, I need access to the usual Google range of apps (maps, gmail, docs, play store) and also be able to download apps from the play store itself if at all possible, not to mention receiving the notifications for each. Also, when google services updates, would you have to go through the whole process again if choosing to install the native google services option? Thanks man!

question: i have done it on cn version mate 40 pro. does it still works on mate40pro global version and honor magic pro5 cn version which runs harmonyOS 4.0?
It will work only in CN versions, for global better use GBox
After 3 days doing that push notification fix method in hmos 4 and play store being disabled after 3 days play store will work as well

As it was already explained in the video this will only work for Chinese versions which are using HarmonyOS.
i tried to install it on my new Huawei Mate x5, but after installing the 6th app, i could not find microG installed on my phone, and the installation of the App 7 GPS failed ! could you please help me ?
I found the problem, in mate x5 the microG app will not apear on your screan, you have to uninstall it from the Apps then you can go forward.
But after installing number 8 und unistall ist to install nr 9 i lose getting notofication from Push notification😢

Have you installed GBox or Gspace? If so remove them and if it's still not working try with airplane mode enabled.
