Love your style. You're very good at destroying stuff :D Do you actually prefer the syntakt? Since you've done a lot of videos with it in the past. Can't decide between buying analog rytm or syntakt atm :e
thank you so much! it's a really tough one. I think syntakt is faster. But I sampling on the rytm is a really big deal. I use syntakt more, but I go deeper with Rytm
@@userfriendlysounds Just to come back to this comment, where would you place the digitakt in that roster? Just from personal experience if you have used it.
@@StuartMawdsley This is an interesting topic for me because Digitakt was actually the first elektron box I ever tried and i didn't like it at all. But I didn't like anything about it. It wasn't for another few years when I tried Rytm that I fell in love. To be fair though, when I tried the digitakt I was still very ill with the Eurocrack disease... haha Anyway, I am a huge fan of sample based work flow. I have an octatrack and I love it so I never really though I should get a Digitakt. Over the past few months of falling deeper and deeper in love with the syntakt I think more that there is a very real case to be made for having Octa and Digitakt, or even Digitakt OVER octa. Something about the takt workflow is just. so. fast. and fluid! it really feels like playing an instrument. Again, I really don't think you can wrong with any of them.
@userfriendlysounds Thank you for the detailed response. It's helpful to know where people stand because each machine is different and I'm trying to build up a sample library to draw from and considering whether a synth approach might be more accessible for me but considering each box has its own unique qualities with some overlap it's hard to know where I should start to avoid that initial distaste. The mpc for example has left me feeling let down but there are qualities I enjoy, I just think the immediacy of workflow is what draws me to elektron. Knowing how people feel about them, even though subjective, is still important for me to make a decision. Thank you 😀
@@StuartMawdsley sure thing! If you are looking to build up your sample library, don't sleep on digitone either. That id probably one of the most far reaching elektron boxes ive used from a sound design standpoint!
genius!
The voice had me in bits. Subbed for just that.
Chef's kiss. Pucker up.
Someone call CPS on Userfriendly for abusing that poor Syntakt!
just reported this abuse 😅
Syntakt thinks it's getting a keyboard when really, it's getting itself.
Love it 😂
