In my own opinion, they are totally different games and great in their own right. Luma Island feels more like an adventure puzzle game depending on your first/second profession. (Im on the 4th biome in my first playthrough and have done 0 farming). Coral island, on the other hand, feels more like a "traditional" farm life sim akin to Stardew but with upgraded/3D graphics, better romanceable candidates (i never was a fan of the options in stardew 😅), and improvements on the "stardew" formula. I absolutely love both Luma & Coral islands 😊
