  • Using Creo Flow Analysis, design engineers can evaluate fluid and gas flows within their models. In this demonstration, Todd Kraft, shows you how a wizard makes the process is foolproof.

Hi , I come from Flowworks and I try to find a simulation's fonction in CREO FLOW ANALYSIS that can extract the différent forces applied to the body due to the flow , is it possible with CREO FLOW ANALYSIS ?

Yes, for sure, you just pick surfaces and plot the forces (pressure or shear forces in any direction)on them in the xyplots. You can use expression to do further custom calculation based on your cases.

anybody else here trying to figure out how the hell to fix their grayed out "Flow Analysis" button!?!?

      Hello,
Could you please raise your problem to the PTC Community? Screenshots and details about the process you have gone through so far would help a lot:

      Thank you!

Creo Flow Analysis is not checked to be installed by default. You need to check it manually in the custom option during the installation of creo parametric. Another possibility is that you try to run creo flow analysis at the component mode. It only supports assemblies for creo 4, 5 and 6. The button is greyed out due to that. Creo 7 adds multi body, so for creo 7, it supports both of components and assemblies.

@@stoneszone Does it come with Creo Parametric 5.0 or is it a seperate software package?

@@area85restorations75 It comes with the installation image, Creo 4 m060 or higher, Creo 5, 6 and 7.

@@stoneszone I have Creo Parametric 5 and I did click the Creo Simulate button when installing. The botton is still greyed out for fluids.
