Storytelling: A village girl witness the foreign invader possibly Siamese (Central Thai), the invader seem to look for an sacred text heavily guided. She was so scared and frustrated but seem like she overcame it an became a warrior. She wore the Hanuman outfit (Hanuman is a a monkey god king, a great military commander in ancient story) to take over her kingdom back and protect the sacred text. Her Song- It is about femininity that she could overcome of very things if she kill all the negativity arround her. She asked all women to recall the Naga Goddess mother's word, that all girls would become the top leader when she has no fear and afraid of nothing. And she toke the words and lead her female army reclaimed her throne that noone could take it away from her ever again.

She couldn’t provide sub titles because the lyrics is hard to put in English as she used khmer ancient languages as well. In this MV, she also put most kinds of Cambodia culture and temples as recently we had culture conflict with Thailand. She want to show that we are the owner of everything on our land. Hi Teddy. I am being shadowbann so I can't reply but I can create a one post to help explain. The Khmer didn't know the English word for that song. The actual word that translate directly from that Khmer word is "Heroine". This song is sung about the real history of the war between Thai and Khmer. The Thai army decimated the Khmer male soldiers leaving only the female. They thought that by doing so, the women can't retaliate. Instead, that was what happen. The women gather strength, train and took revenge and decimated the Thai soldiers and this land is now called "Siemreap". It's one of the town or city in Cambodia. "Siem" is what we called Thai. "Reap" in its actually spelling "riap" the correct way to spell it as it should be pronounced. But "riap" means "levelled to the ground". So Cambodia was saved by an army of women. You paused the video at 10:34 and ask wtf is that. That is the naga snake in Hindu religion. That girl that wear that cloth to cover her private part. But in actuality, they are not wearing such attire. It's just that over the decades, the Khmer has come to the censure that they use some of the covering to cover up for what they lack back in the days. Another word they are covering up their past. The temple was erected to honor the Khmer women that saved Cambodia and it's called "Banteay Srey". "Bantiay" is the correct spelling for the correct pronunciation. It means a "barrack" and "Srey" means "women".

Hi Teddy. I am being shadowbann so I can't reply but I can create a one post to help explain. The Khmer didn't know the English word for that song. The actual word that translate directly from that Khmer word is "Heroine". This song is sung about the real history of the war between Thai and Khmer. The Thai army decimated the Khmer male soldiers leaving only the female. They thought that by doing so, the women can't retaliate. Instead, that was what happen. The women gather strength, train and took revenge and decimated the Thai soldiers and this land is now called "Siemreap". It's one of the town or city in Cambodia. "Siem" is what we called Thai. "Reap" in its actually spelling "riap" the correct way to spell it as it should be pronounced. But "riap" means "levelled to the ground". So Cambodia was saved by an army of women.
You paused the video at 10:34 and ask wtf is that. That is the naga snake in Hindu religion. That girl that wear that cloth to cover her private part. But in actuality, they are not wearing such attire. It's just that over the decades, the Khmer has come to the censure that they use some of the covering to cover up for what they lack back in the days. Another word they are covering up their past. The temple was erected to honor the Khmer women that saved Cambodia and it's called "Banteay Srey". "Bantiay" is the correct spelling for the correct pronunciation. It means a "barrack" and "Srey" means "women".
I believe that Dithway is the name of the group. TBP is the abbreviation for the singer's name, Tep Boprak. The song is about courage of women, that women can be smart, strong and powerful just as men.
Tbp is Dit-Way’s girlfriend. She’s under his label I think that’s why her song is on his channel.
