Lovely job & learning experience. It may help to get him on, or a bit ahead of, instead of behind the verticle. You can always change leads once you notice it. It can be tricky to cue properly if nervous. You know & improve constantly, which is so inspirational.

I did one the other day and just a little tip while doing the in-hand is to run at the pony's shoulder and not in front of him. Me and my pony did 3 in hand shows & 1 ridden class (my first ever one). I love you channel and love how shiny Rolo is. x
Rolo’s absolutely adorable! You guys are funny when you talk about the class being huge with 12 or 13 ponies in it. Here in the USA we have classes of almost 45 or 50 animals in them. I was in a class with 45 horses & ponies in it. It was a trail horse class with show high point Quarter horse’s & Appaloosa’s competing for points. Many of them were champions of this class. My pony Honey took 1st place & it was our first show. She was 1/2 Shetland & 1/2 Welsh about 10 & 1/2 hands high. We had so! much fun in that class & I took it lightly that we had even won but was happy. I used to just like talking about how she had beat all the registered show horses. But there was even more to it than that. I got her when I was only 10 years old & she was just a back yard pony but I just adored her. She was green broke, I’d never had any lessons but ended up training her properly somehow. I did have a girlfriend who had showed & her horse was professionally trained that was a helpful influence but we rarely discussed training & just went on rides. Something that often happened with Honey was that knowledgable horse people would always come up & make me offers to buy her right out of the blue which I always thought was funny. Being little I just thought no one was going to buy my pony but looking back I think they saw her natural talent. Being older now I look at her much differently. That was quite an accomplishment for her in her trail class show pulling a first place & the people that were making offers on her saw how well trained & behaved she was. She was really my little jewel that shined in many ways I was unaware of that to others caused her to stand out. Ponies can be so much fun. I had so many good memories with her.
I love watching these because I used to do first ridden classes (I now do the older classes as it’s been a few years) but it’s so funny seeing people I have been against on these videos 😂! Well ridden by the way!

When I saw the title something went very wrong, I freaked out! I was like “oh no!! Something happened to rolo!! What he broke a bone!?” When Harlow said she “wrong legged it” I felt better and thankful that nothing went wrong in medical issues! You did your best Harlow! Love the braids! I actaully love how much saddle pads harlow has and I wish I had them 😅 even though on Tuesday it’s my 4th time at horse riding I’m learning how to trot when u have to sit down sit up and I felt like I was liiterally holding on dear life to the saddle the horse that I rode they said he was the bounciest horse in the stable and literally😂😂😂😅😮😢🎉😂❤ and I’ve loved horses since I was three and right now I’m 10 x

hi Harlow, I think you did amazing for one of your first big shows. instead of an inside bend, it gets the right leg to canter and put more weight from your hip into your inside leg. reason for this is so that you don't overbend the horse and curl rolo's body, the judge will see this and think you are the best rider out of them all. well done sometimes it's not our day.
Normally when I click on a longer video like this one I usually click off at about the middle of the video, BUT when I watch your longer videos I watch them all the way through and then I'm like "WHAT!? Its already over?? ;-;" And then its a painfully long wait for the next one haha. You and Rolo did really well even if you did have some mistakes :)

This reminds me so much of my first time showing! I had no idea what I was supposed to do 😂 think I didn’t everything on both reins and nearly ran the judge over! 😂
She's not the only one who forgot her pattern! Once a little while ago, I was doing a dressage test and I forgot my whole test and got disqualified!!!! 😂
My trainer once forgot that I had a dressage test in 2 days and she taught me the whole thing in one night and I was so scared I was gonna forget it but thankfully I couldn't go to that show anyway😂
