Amazing architecture. England as you remember from TV series, foggy, rainy, but so fantastically beautiful. Great work getting so good footage in these conditions😊
Ryka's was heaving at the weekend, as you said! The paint on Zig Zag Road is called Box Hill Road River and was created by artist Richard Long for the 2012 Olympics in London. I dont think Richard is a biker though! 😉
Would have been nice to be there on a weekend, must have had a good atmosphere. Ahh thanks, yeah no biker would put slippery paint on a nice road lol 🤣
Yeah it's a great biker stop, shame we weren't there on the weekend as we are guessing the atmosphere there is awesome. So many beautiful little villages with houses like they are out of a filmset 😊
Hey, I work here p/t, lovely place. Roads are grea (better in the warmer climate), especially the A272 to Loomies. I paused vid to drop a line but will carry on watching now, enjoy and ride safe!
Hi! Yeah a really nice place! We had the perfect climate for riding so very thankful of that 😊 Nice ti hear from you and we hope you are enjoying the series 😎🙌🏻
The road paint design on the slopes of Box Hill’s zig-zag road was commissioned for the London 2012 Olympics, the climb up to the top of Box Hill via the zig-zag road was part of the cycling road race course.
Hi Jeff, yeah literally history everywhere! Sometimes it’s a shame to have to pass through places without stopping but better to catch a glimpse than not seeing them at all 😊. Something about the architecture that just makes us feel at home. 😎👍🏻
Hi just a bit off advice we want to go to Norway next year. It is the Wife’s 50th and we want to do something special. We have not done are Ireland trip yet and already planning next year. We are watching your trip to Norway and loving it. Which is the best month you would recommend to go to Norway heading up to the the Artic circle Thanks Andy + Jeanette 👍👍
Hi Andy and Jeanette, so glad you are enjoying the Heading North Playlist (we really enjoyed this trip and making this series). We did our trip in September and got back the first week in October. We didn't want to go peak season as there are lots of camper vans and visitors but the later you leave it the more you risk the weather (also this was the only time slot we had available) . Apparently Locals said it was rainier than usual but after we got past the artic circle the weather was great! The trolls road is closed this year due to rock falls so good that you didn't go this year. I guess September is a good time of year but be sure to compare what others say and be prepared for weather 😊
@@SeanandEmily Thank you so much we will take it all into account. We would prefer to go when it is less crowded on the roads more quieter. Looking forward tonight video 👍👍
Hi Guys, are you about a week behind from when you’re passing through these places to when you put out your videos? It’s just on the Winchester part you said it was Thursday at about 2 o’clock which would put you on last Thursday, It’s just you are in my neck of the woods and I could’ve give you some heads up of some sen scenic places to drive through 👍
Hi, we are a few weeks behind on the trip and we always put a suggestion post on Facebook and Instagram before we leave, but feel free to put some suggestions in the comments just in case anyone is sifting though

Really depends on where we were. Roads that are obviously overused by cities and busy motorways were terrible -gigantic holes cracks etc .plenty of these around London and Manchester. We noticed Northern Scotland had great roads as did countryside Wales. Obviously we didn't ride everywhere but we found they were either great or terrible. In fairness the road network in the uk is gigantic and the amount of vehicles is high too - that said they are all paying road tax so where is the money going.
WHAT ABOUT MICHELHAM PRIORY OFF HAILSHAM, AND CHARLESTON FARMHOUSE YOU WILL LIKE BOTH THEM,CHARELSTONE FARMHOUSE IS ON THE MAJOR ROAD BUT YOU DONT TURN OFF ON THE ROAD TO DRUSILLAS ZOO PARK AND ALFRISTON THOUGH CONTINUE DOWN THAT ROAD JUST AROUND THE BEND IS CHARLESTONE FARMOUSE THE FAMOUS WRITER ONCE LIVED THERE ,AND HEVEN CASTLE OVER IN KENT HOME OF ANNE BOLEYN
Hey there.. I need a bit of advise. I ride a bmw 1250gs pro and the windscreen causes a lot of wind buffeting on my helmet at speeds above 70 kmph .. do these enduro helmets help against the buffeting ? Mine is a Agv k3sv helmet
Happy to give advice but we might not be the best to answer this question as we don’t really notice wind buffering. Being 6ft2 unless I want a gigantic screen I’m gna get wind blast plus not to obstruct the camera the screen is set to it’s lower position. Often it depends on how sheltered the road is that effects the wind blast. I would say the peaked helmets are not going to make you more aerodynamic and often catch the wind at high speeds. Hopefully someone else here might be able to help. 😎👍🏻
Nice to see footage in our area. Thanks for that. I live in Billingshurst, 10mins from Petworth. I rode through There'll just four weeks ago. After riding on Salisbury Plain on my Africa Twin. Keep up the good work. Ride safe.😊
It's probably because we had not long got back form Corsica 😂 ...they literally only had hairpins and sharp bends. Glad you are enjoying the Vids! We had a great time touring the UK! 😎👍
Funny you should say that, we actually said that to each other as we hit some huge potholes! Hard work avoiding them all. We actually met a few bikers who changed to an adventure bike for this very reason 😳
