just a brief update since I'm at work, issue still ongoing.

Just bought something up the street with EFTPOS but rang them first and took cash as well.
Not good if it's affecting medical etc or transport.
It does show just how fragile the digital infrastructure is, one problem at one company and the world collapses,
Kind of makes a mockery of the "improved service" that the new digital telephone service (in the UK) promised 😞
Went down to my local ATM at it is empty, guess that people are taking your advice 🙂

My partner delivers pharmaceuticals to doctors, chemists and hospitals and their systems are down to. He has been able to do his run this morning but if it continues they won’t be doing afternoon runs as the ordering system is down.
Yep, and gp surgery etc . A lot of things hit/ down.
Suggest folks keep or have some cash at home.

Thanks for this, after seeing this I did 4 things. 1 fill up water containers, 2 put washing out, 3 go and get money out of atm, and 4 get more shopping in. Thanks a few months ago I wouldn't have known to do this.
