    Thank you for the video, just rebuilt my reg with an Inception Designs kit... went perfectly!

    Thanks for about the only good angle on the reg seat on the internet. My Resurrection suddenly stopped getting air today and upon disassembly, the little vent piece had somehow sawed a clean hole straight through the center, which in turn got sucked up into the upper assembly and shut the whole flow off. It looks so perfectly done I had to find a video just to see if the reg seal was supposed to look like that.

    Thanks for this video. Just had my reg blow out an o-ring and this helped me figure out it was the main ring on the disc holder. Now to actually go find the replacement for it. Cheers!

    Hmm... How come my sniper reg only had 7 Belleville washers on the piston? Am I missing one?

    • @PaintballTek
      @PaintballTek  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have seen them with both 7 and 8, sometimes it depends on the style of belleville washers that were used I think(?) some being more flat, having an extra washer, than some others that had a more pronounced bend to them. using one fewer washer...that's my theory anyway. They will work fine usually with either 7 or 8 in there, it just means that the adjustment point of the screw is different which is why I test all these with a tester and gauge instead of saying like "go 3 turns in for this pressure" like can be done on some regs like Dye or PE.

    I can hear my washers moving a bit after I rebuilt it. did the piston not seat properly? Or can you always hear the washers move a little?

    Would you recommend this reg for an old prostock build ?? Was going to get the inception reg but they look to be the same

    • @PaintballTek
      @PaintballTek  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Both regs are good for a cocker build, the Inception reg has a few features that make it a bit more user friendly for future service needs, but they both perform essentially in a similar way.

    Watching this reg disassemble makes me want to just replace the factory reg with a CP.

    Having problems removing the top of my regulator. Do you have a link to those ASA vice grip pliers? Any other suggestions?

    • @foughtwolf
      @foughtwolf 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Im 8 months late here, but rubber strap-wrench has always worked wonders on these type regulators.

      @foughtwolf 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@luismolina6771 Google Strap-wrench. You'll find em everywhere and in any hardware store. You want two, and they often come in packs of two different sizes as it is.

      I use an old leather belt around the top cap and a pair of vice grip pliers. Works fine, and no idiot marks.

    Do you know the max input pressure the reg can handle?

    • @PaintballTek
      @PaintballTek  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      What kind of pressure are you thinking of putting through it...? I know it can easily handle standard 800psi input from paintball tanks, and likely even the higher pressures of the SHP tanks at around 1100psi. If you're looking for a reg specifically to take much higher pressures I may have some other suggestions for a specialty application if needed.

    • @aalfonso82
      @aalfonso82 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@PaintballTek thank you, that answers my question, I ask because I have a Guerrilla reg on my tank and it blows a reg seat on my brothers Ego 2.1 and I just bought a resurrection and waiting to get here and I wanted to know if it will work, thanks

    • @PaintballTek
      @PaintballTek  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@aalfonso82 It *should* handle it, but if your tank is blowing reg seats i would check what the output pressure is and possibly try and get a lower pressure spring, heh.

    Where do you get your orings?

    • @PaintballTek
      @PaintballTek  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      www.theoringstore.com I have found is the easiest place to get a good selection of seals. The best 'starter' kit that covers everything from -003 to -020 can be found here: www.theoringstore.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=7487
      I would also suggest getting sizes -110, -111, -112, and -113 if you are working on cockers and it's also good to have the most common metrics which are 3x1mm, 14x2mm, and 16x2mm all in Buna-N 70 durometer.

    • @aarontaylor9329
      @aarontaylor9329 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      What size 16mm?

    • @PaintballTek
      @PaintballTek  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      3x1 is used on inception 3-ways, older GA regs, and certain solenoids but mostly for the inception parts, 14x2 is a VERY common size for use in PE and several others for their bolts and regs, and 16x2 is a size used on certain bolts in the SP family like the Ion and older Ion based markers.
