With all respect, it's totally autotune here. The sound is robotic, especially in the highs, and blurred to hide it. I, personally, like Darren Espanto version more. He strains there, when he's on the edge of natural voice. Personally I like the energy concentrated - the "vibrating column of air" - while straining the way he does.

I have been trying to accomplish this song being 58 the flexibility of my voice is a bit shot . I am glad this gentleman did the song so it would be easier for me to not have to translate so much in my mind from woman to man voice. This seems like a high difficulty musical piece??? also I seem to have developed a crack in my voice, that has really been aggravating me and how I can avoid that.
Singing closed vowels (ee or oo) are difficult in full voice, especially in your upper range. The open ‘aye’ or ‘eh’ are easier to project when you’re singing up there, and it sounds fuller. I prefer an open sounding vowel for an epic song like this, or just at least end the song with one, because it brings a more dramatic sound for the ending, which this song deserves. Just my opinion 👌🏼
Energy once a year or so I come back to this flawless performance. I hope someone is giving you bags and bags of money or whatever it is that you desire because this is perfect. However, each voice type has their own beauty, and advantages and disadvantages. High tenors like Dustin cannot even begin to dream about the rumbly, earth-shaking, bronzed lower notes baritones and basses have. Some of the most beautiful and emotional voices I've ever heard were basses/baritones. You can be proud of what you are, and be content with what God gave you :-) Also, I feel the baritone's repertoire is more interesting, to be quite honest. After a while, it's like "ok the tenor is the hero in this musical/opera...what else is new...?"

For me what impressed me the the most besides the great vocal delivery was that you felt the lyrics and expressed them through your body. The song means a lot to you and I felt your emotion!
I have to say this is the best cover I've heard of "Never Enough". I first found this through a link on someone's top 10 covers of Never Enough. You have an amazing voice. I loved the emotion you put into singing this ... yet it didn't look like "overacting" as I've seen in many covers of this song. You let your voice, natural feeling and vocal power carry it. Amazing!
