Bosstiary - The Welter

In this video I will show you how to find and kill The Welter. The Welter can be found in the Hydra Mountain in Port Hope, close to the mountain pass. You can either take the boats from Port Hope to the mountain pass or travel through the mountain pass from Ankrahmun. You’ll then head North to find the Hydra spawn and work your way inside and head down the stairs to find The Welter spawn area.
The Welter can combo around 1000 damage and also summons eggs constantly. These eggs if not killed will turn into a Spawn of The Welter. The Spawn of The Welter will use mass healing constantly. This makes it difficult to kill The Welter, eggs, and other Spawn of The Welter if you have too many of them spawned. You will either have to lure the Spawn of The Welter away from the boss to prevent the healing or if you are strong enough or with a big enough group you should be able to kill all of the eggs and Spawn of The Welter as they appear. The Welter will do a large heal when it first reaches red health for over 17,000.
The Welter has 25,000 health and self healing which makes it easier to share the kill. It is best to coordinate with anyone killing the boss and use a replica wand or rod once everyone has arrived so everyone can get the kill. Typically The Welter will spawn every 16 to 28 days.
The Welter is a boss in the Nemesis category which means you will get 100 boss points total for 5 kills. This boss does have some special loot. The Welter is the only creature to drop both the Shrunken Head Necklace as well as the Triple Bolt Crossbow. Currently the Shrunken Head Necklace is worth over 30kk while the Triple Bolt Crossbow is worth 2kk-5kk.

check for this boss constantly and have never even seen it. do nemesis bosses spawn at ss or can it spawn randomly thru out the day?

They can spawn at any point throughout the day.
