Oh these turned out so beautifully! Thanks for the how-to! I learned a lot! Just ordered those molds using your amazon shop link. I can’t wait to get them to give this craft a try!
Oh, that's fantastic, Yanna. Thank you so much for the video. It's very informative. I am thinking of getting into resin. They look amazing. That's cool that you incorporate your graphic design skills into it...I will be doing that as well :)
OMG that was freaking amazing!! I have the same set and i am looking to others to see how to make them. Your earrings were HOTTTT!!! but your freaking jewelry cards were OUT OF THIS WORLD HOT! Great Job! you have given me so many ideas! Subscribing!!
Can more glitter be added? Or does it make it harder to dry? I've never made earrings before but, I want to try. Thanks bunches. I love how yours turned out!!!
UV will be a stronger hold but your earring will need to be see through for the light to cure the resin behind the post. If not, use regular resin or glue.
Hi! I’ve just started my resin journey and I was just curious as to where you get the paper earring holders. I want to make jewelry look a bit more professional.
I have a Cricut and designed the file myself! You can find the file here if you have a cricut: www.etsy.com/listing/806867453/earring-card-cut-file-svg?ref=shop_home_active_1
The resin I use takes 24 hours till you can take them out of the mold, but when making thinner pieces I will let them sit in the mold for longer because they will still be somewhat bendy after only 24 hours. I'm not sure how much resin I used, I never measure, but i should! 😅
Please help!!! I have been doing epoxy resin earrings for a few months and they come out beautiful and cured. But once they are exposed to sun they get soft/bendy. Once off of the sun they go back to normal. I have tried different brands and it keeps happening. I’m sure I’m measuring right and stirring it slow and for at least 5 min. Do you have any tips? Or any resin brand that you recommend? It also happens when I make rolling trays, keychains, ashtrays or something else that is usually ticker than an earring 🙃 Thank you so much!
When I drill a hole for the pin and then glue it with the E600 it doesn't stay, the pin wiggles loose. The drill bit is about the same size as the pin. Should I drill the hole longer or try a different glue?
If I am lazy packing tape or a lint roller. Otherwise just some dish soap and let air dry to avoid lint. If you get hard water marks use filtered water to rinse :)
Did you use Epoxy resin to make these? Not that that's wrong, but I've never seen anyone use epoxy for jewelry before. Usually, they use uv resin. I do. I don't have the patience for epoxy. 😂 Beautiful pieces, though. Inspiring. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for the wonderful video!! What paints/colors did you add? Also, what is the brand of hand drill that you use? Thanx again. Waiting for more resing jewelry videos
It would depend on the thickness of post you are using. I eyeball mine against the post. You can always drill from smaller size to bigger and test it out since you can't go backwards.
Thank you so much, it was really useful, can you please tell me what kind of glue you're using? I made some rings but I couldn't find suitable glue to glue resin on metal . Thanks
what kind of resin do you use? Cuz I've tried two different ones and one of them was still sticky even after few days and second one was veeeery smelly. Please help!
I have a video explaining what resins I use! But yes be careful they can be harmful so use a mask if required! Here is the video: th-cam.com/video/5Oyv32KdAlI/w-d-xo.html
UV resin that needs light will come in a black bottle so not sunlight can get in. If your bottle is clear and in 2 parts it's probably just regular resin.
This is a bad question for me because I am not great at pre-measuring for my molds. A lot of people will measure the mold out by filling it with water and measuring the water that you pour out. Just make sure the mold is dry before using!
Hmmm... I really depends if you think you are going to be committed to it and buy a larger quantity of resin or if you just want to dip your feet in. I end up using a lot of the stuff in kits anyway so it's not a total waste to get one! Glad I could help! 😀
Great tutorial! I have trouble drilling holes in the resin. I have this mold as well. I didn't see the starter hole. Thank you for that!
Glad it was helpful! 😀
Thank you so much for showing the process! Now I know I need the hand drill 😍
There are some molds that come with a little bump so there is a hole for earring hooks and eye pins :) the drill isn’t really necessary

emma k probably Amazon or Etsy

Ahhh this is inspiring me!!!!!
YAY! So happy to get you motivated!
Can more glitter be added? Or does it make it harder to dry? I've never made earrings before but, I want to try. Thanks bunches. I love how yours turned out!!!
You can add as much glitter as you like! It will make the mixture thicker though.
Thank you so much for sharing this video with the world. I learned a lot
Glad it was helpful!
I am madly in love with all of these earrings! What kind of wire did you use for those half circle ones?
The jump rings I have are to small to out the ewribga together! What size do you use?
Can you show how you mixed it thank you
Thank you so, so much for this video
Glad it was helpful! :)
what type of paper/card stock is that you used to make the backing cards for your earrings? thanks so much this video was so helpful!
Just regular cardstock from the craft store, but I would recommend a little bit thicker cardstock if you can find it.
Are you using UV light to have an quick dry? Thankyouuuu more tutorials
The resin I used in this video was not UV resin, it was 2-part resin. I find that using uv resin in large amounts is hard to control, and expensive!
I have seen several tutorials about making epoxy earring and I am confused whether to use UV epoxy or glue to attach the stud?
UV will be a stronger hold but your earring will need to be see through for the light to cure the resin behind the post. If not, use regular resin or glue.
Hi! I’ve just started my resin journey and I was just curious as to where you get the paper earring holders. I want to make jewelry look a bit more professional.

How much resin do you prepare for each mold?
Thanks!
Hi, so beautiful, by the way how long did resin dry? And what's the amount of Resin?
The resin I use takes 24 hours till you can take them out of the mold, but when making thinner pieces I will let them sit in the mold for longer because they will still be somewhat bendy after only 24 hours. I'm not sure how much resin I used, I never measure, but i should! 😅
Peel away from the mat (as in May face down)to reduce the chances of you ripping your cards. Great video!
Good tip! Thanks!
Please help!!! I have been doing epoxy resin earrings for a few months and they come out beautiful and cured. But once they are exposed to sun they get soft/bendy. I think most resins do get somewhat bendy in the sun. I would try to use UV resin and see if that happens?
@@Squidlicks thank you so much!!! 🙏
These are BEAUTIFUL ... question are these heavy or more hollow/light when wearing them?
Thank you so much! They are super light! Resin is usually very lightweight.
When I drill a hole for the pin and then glue it with the E600 it doesn't stay, the pin wiggles loose. The drill bit is about the same size as the pin. Should I drill the hole longer or try a different glue?
I would try a different glue, maybe something similar to like a super glue? Or you could use a bit of resin next time you mix up a batch!
Where'd you get those cups with the beak on them? It'll help me so much when pouring
You can find them on my list here:

I feel silly asking but what is the thing you use to cut out your design? it’s so cool!
great video, love your channel
Glad you enjoy it!
Where did you get your tiny drill bits?!
Hi! This is the hand drill i use: amzn.to/3lSb9Dj
So I tried the E6000 glue the way you did with the hoop earrings and it didnt hold very well. Any recommendations?
You can always use a little bit of resin! That will hold better.
How do you clean these molds when dirty? TY
If I am lazy packing tape or a lint roller. Otherwise just some dish soap and let air dry to avoid lint. If you get hard water marks use filtered water to rinse :)
Where did you get your nail polish love it
I think I'm wearing 2 different ones in this video, haha!
Yes I did! I have problems with UV resin warping on me (if you wish the fish earrings video) so I prefer the mix and cure kind.
How many hours does it take to dry?
Hello. I love your work. What do you use to tint the resin? Also, how do I get them to come out shiny on the bottom side, they are dull
Hi, I use alcohol ink in this video. Check if your molds are shiny, the resin will have the same finish your mold has.
Thanks for the wonderful video!! What paints/colors did you add? Also, what is the brand of hand drill that you use? Thanx again. Waiting for more resing jewelry videos
