Agreed, but they did still utilize BIT sounding tunes which is like nails on a chalk board for me. Happy no Crackle noises though, that makes my ears itch :D

@@jembei I just found the other one, disliked it due to the crackling (fake crackling ruins a lot of lofi tracks IMO), but saw the link to this one. I really like this version so I'm glad I noticed it!
This is gonna sound weird, but this morning just out of the blue, I started thinking about this track and feeling like I wanted to listen to it again, but then I remembered "Oh yeah, it had that annoying crackle that I didn't quite like." And then in the evening, THIS video shows up in my recommendations. O.o

This is... actually fantastic! Alot of Lo-Fi tracks just sound the same and have the same old tricks. But I'd gladly throw this soundtrack into one of my DnD games as the players arrive at the tavern or set up camp to relax and recuperate.

Not for baldurs gate, but there is a stardew valley mod that adds in astarion, gale, and karlach; and ones for that tavern-y look if you're there for the aesthetic

You're playing with some interesting ideas, but I strongly dislike that you've sold it as "no crackle". If you're putting effort into making new types of lo-fi aesthetic sound, dont reduce it down to removing crackle - upon first impressions it looked like you didn't even understand what lo-fi meant! You're doing interesting things to fill the space of the vinyl sounds that you've removed, sell yourself on that, and put that in your titles! Otherwise it just looks like slowcore music with overheavy sidechain compression (i.e. what lo-fi would be without the hardware artefacts that characterise the sound).
To be honest, I know you're chasing SEO, but you may wish to reclassify your style based on exactly what your intentions are in all this.
I love that you took the time to listen and comment but you're a bit off the mark. I made a "no crackle" version of these song for some of my listeners who have Misophonia and requested a verison without those vinyl sounds so that they can enjoy the EP. Wished you had checked more of my catalog before you made a judgment call on my practices as a producer.

This is great, and then like all lofi, it gets too repetitive and incorporates BIT tunes 27:35 in some instances which i personally find annoying, i guess thats just a lofi thing, broken record bit tunes scratching sounds. :( I want all the lofi that doesnt include that elements. Whom ever did the pixel art did and outstanding job. Favorite tune Weeping Dawn and down by the river - which might arguably be better than the games version(s) of that song haha. Honestly i wouldnt mind this version of either song as my games main menu music... might have to mod that.
