    kid on the left illustrating the potential of young scrabble minds. The ability to come and find that bingo at the end with time pressure against a very strong opponent is incredible!

    Is there no point penalty at this level for challenging(do you just lose your turn)? Or is Cherish just not concerned about spread.

      In NASPA competition it would be a turn penalty, meaning Cherish would lose her turn, though the rules might be different in youth scrabble. But she did it anyway because his last play had sealed the win for him - her only possible winning move was to challenge it even if she thought it was most likely a real word. A Hail Mary move.
