The powers that be stole college football from us and completely destroyed it for their own selfish greed
This is something that we have spent our entire lives supporting with our FAMILIES . and their advice ? like it or lump it?
It’s has been very important part of our family’s lives to us and we are just supposed to “just don’t do it “ without being upset at the people who are doing these things ?

@@robertwomack1411Yeah saying people people don’t WANT to in this economy was just stupid but we’re probably going to the playoffs. The ticket prices for the average fan that saves up and buys tickets for one game on a resale website were gonna go up way more than 10% anyway.
The extra price is only for season tickets. It's not for every ticket sold.
Nil is to protect players from exploitation

@bryanthomas6063 I already donate a lot to volunteer club collective per year considering my income. My opinion is valid. To tell me not suck it or not watch is not valid.
You guys are completely missing the point on ticket prices. It is already nearly impossible fot 50% of the fanbase to go to a game. Tennessee has far higher ticket prices than the national average. I love that our players are being taken care of. Just wish there was a different way to do it instead of pricing out more fans.
And it’s all been done to stuff a bunch of money into a very few fat cat pockets
These people aren’t the ones who built this sport into the great phenomenon that it became…we did that , the people who have been supporting with extreme loyalty for decades did that , and now a few people come along and see an opportunity to stuff their pockets full and hit the door and never look back and they took it from us and we are just supposed to get over it or stop watching?
Pretty sad what’s happened to people’s attitudes in this country
Everything and I mean every thing is for sale and you better not even point out how that might not be the best way or they will call you crazy
But it might not be the best way people
It doesn't affect regular tickets. It's just for season tickets.
Also, I think the high prices are the secondary market. Tickets from the school are in my opinion affordable. Plus TicketMaster gouging people with fees on the secondary market.
The school itself is not charging an arm and a leg like say ticket master or stub hub
Is rather the school make money than the secondary market. This is a win win
My issue with the talent fee is that ticket resellers like ticketmaster, that fee will result in more than 10% increase in price. If we could do away with reselling I think it would be far less noticeable to the average fan.

Tickets were reasonably priced even for the biggest games before ticketmaster got involved
They are a horrible greedy company
But no telling how much that Ticketmaster is paying The Athletic Department and leaving them would cut into Danny’s bonus money and that isn’t going to happen
What talent fee do Volquesters have to pay to not see that Exterior home soultions commercial anymore?
It’s about pricing out the common fan. They’re making it impossible for the mid class fans to go to games.
Personally, I don't mind a couple of Kent st games on the schedule because I know we traditionally play one of the toughest schedules in the SEC with Fla, GA, and Bama. It helps with less injuries, gets young players playing time in case they're needed and it keeps them engaged.
Ticket prices... Do away with third party sites like Ticketmaster, charging crazy fees... Problem solved

I've liked the portal for a couple reasons. IMO, one being the opportunity to get closer to parity, quickly. I'm not adverse to NIL, but its getting out of hand. At this point the cost is being transferred to the fan. Plus its stepping back to whomever has $$ gets the talent. So the haves are going to just have more.
Y’all sound out of touch on the ticket price increase. Especially AP. A ticket to a football game is now a full blown luxury item. A huge portion of this fanbase can’t afford to go and then they’re asking for an increase on top of that. I’ll say, they better put a great product on the field each and every year or people will check out on this greediness REAL quick.

Couldn’t care less about a price increase since I haven’t been to Neyland in 6 years. It was too expensive back then and it’s only gotten worse lol. AP nailed it. Every person needs to be smart with their own money.

All this whining about tickets and affordable experiences for live football. Stop. Y’all aren’t a factor in this. There are 50,000 fans waiting in line to for the opportunity to be there. On top of that the experience is no longer just a football game. Disney Danny is way ahead of the pack. Do you whine about pro football costs? No!! You watch the game on your television. And you buy whatever is advertised. You’re going to pay one way or another.
