Why is the number 9 the answer is 30? Not 40....
The question( last) is based on present tense. So the answer would be in the present tense. Explanation : The test used to ( used to indicates the past tense) last 40 minutes. It Won't be the answer. Then they explained the answer. But it changed a bit for 20 minutes of the test he gave me directions. I had to drive around and then the last to 10 minutes for demonstrating the maneuvers so the test is 30 minutes in total.

why q5 is "Automatic" when she said "okay I think I'll learn with the manual car too then". Even if there is (popular choice) , it's still not the type of car that the girl chose =)
plus, the answer for q6 should be "summer" rather than "day" as there is a pause between q1-5 and 6-10. meanwhile, the audio includes "day" is the former and the boy also said "Speaking of safety you should wait until summer to start learning"

My opinion : 1st try to understand the question. Question is about "popular choice". Girls opinion is the distractor. You should give highly priority to the popularity rather than girls preference. Because its just her preference not popular
