I was also dealing with a narcissist for almost 15 Years and I got to know his true nature now. Still I am living with him because of kids. But now I know how to deal with him. And keep him on his place.
I wish I could negate the social pressure and get out if this relationship. But one day Allah will show him how bitter n self centred he is. And how he ruined lives of his kids n wife and even himself.
Listen to me because I went through the same situation. I had 2 young children and was a "stay-at-home" mum. No close family around for emotional support so I did feel trapped. I eventually got out when my children were in high school and I wish that I had done so earlier. It has affected my children, negatively, who are grown up and independent now. GET OUT for your and the children's sake. You will lose your self-esteem if you haven't done so already. The ex, I spoke about is still a NARCICCIST! Every time I see this drama, I am just appalled that how the writer has perfectly portrayed this intricate abuse! I have lived this life!! Lies, deception, manipulation, sadism….. and much more 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻to the writer to bring this side of abuse! And this is not only about the narcissist. It’s the whole family dynamic and the the community expectations. And I love the young sister of Alizeh💕 and not to miss the sophisticated gaslighting leading Alizeh to question herself :((

Story of my life and this is exactly what I had faced. Everyone around me could sense it, except me. Currently, I am a patient of Clinical depression, have survived 5 panic attacks in a day, and have been admitted to CCU for a good 3 days. All because of severe narcissism I faced.

Oh finally someone brought something very needful to the screen those who don't know narc abuse and consider it love are unaware that this actually is trauma bond with the narcissist which will eventually damage the brain cause stress PTSD and the symptoms lasts quite long the blame shifting gaslighting and many more in this abuse I appreciate the writer and both the actors for writing such a needful script and amazing acting durefishan.

I comment here every week on how accurate this portrayal of an abusive narcissist is. Some of the textbook tactics / behaviours of my ex - feeling relief when I am sad or crying, “accusing” me of being a “feminist” or losing his temper if I said anything he perceived as “feminist”. Triangulation and giving importance to other people to feed my insecurities - Sherry does it with Natasha and my ex used some of his “female friends” and side ladies. Not relenting when I am begging for forgiveness.

My daughter was a chemical engineer nd her husband did the same. He was a narcesist she divorced but still cant find herself he took away all her self respect nd confidence she now works as a teacher. She was a topper in engineering
My husband was also the same. I did everything for him to please him. He decided everything about me. Even my dressing. Still he was rude. Later I started ignoring him and I firmly stood for my rights. Then he would not talk to me for several days. That was his way to break me. I used to be broken initially. Later I learned to remain normal. I neither argued nor cried. I stopped begging for his love and attention. Then things started to get better. Now, Alhamdulillah I have no complaints about him.
