I'm not sure what the 4 inches is referring too, the grinding stones are around an inch long, I don't remember what size the seat tube I.D. is, 26.8 I believe these had a fairly thick seat tube wall thickness. The depth the honing tool is able to reach without an extension is roughly 6 inches from memory. limited by the drill chuck

I found a 3/4 - 2” honing tool at AutoZone. Worked like a charm yesterday. Thanks so much for the video and instructions!!
