i just bought an 83 gs 850 for the same price lol not a bad deal mine also needed a battery and a clutch lever lol but i borrowed some parts pff my gsxr and rode it home so its a win
most of the center stands on these older bikes are floppy and won't stay up so I remove them and use a car jack to lift the bike up if I need to remove the tire

@@2wheelfamily493 it’s a 08 g35 sedan sport with 135,000 miles lady backed into the side of it in Walmart parking lot she didn’t have insurance and mine wouldn’t fix it got a quote for the damage was $1500 bucks rather just try to trade it and I was thinking 6,500

Just to let you know it has front air assist forks to run about 8psi. Also if Mac makes a slip ones for it I would get them.
the bike does not have air assist forks and I bought slash cut slip on mufflers from eBay for $180 I'll have the update video uploaded soon
@@2wheelfamily493 they are under the caps, one valve on each side. Kinda a pain to get the psi equal on each side. I had my 1982 GS650GL for 8 years.

Why do you remove the center stands ? Those come in handy.

Make sure the stator is good. Kinda suspect that his battery was dead. They did eat stators.

The bike makes comparable power to sv650/FZ07 just a inline 4 so it should be smoother
