Living in the delicious oxygen of the pine forests... It was really an interesting experience for me. I found the ice, my dog was missing, and I think he couldn't eat for 5 days, so I couldn't keep my shots here for too long, I had to take care of him. It's the first time I've seen the mushroom I found next to the tree near my campsite. I have no idea what it is.
In this section, I tried to construct a bushcraft shelter in the same way that the former nomadic people set up their tents. I learned the weed that I found by the creek from my elders, but I do not know its name exactly, it is a very useful plant, I will write its name when I find out exactly.

Hi, biologist from Finland here. In case no-one identified it for you, the mushroom you found is parasol mushroom, Macrolepiota procera. It is a gourmet edible mushroom, the caps have a pleasant taste of nutty flavour. Caps and the ring are eaten, foot is stringy. It is really easy to recognize, as long as you check that the specks on top are brown at lighter cap. If they are white on light brown cap, you most likely have an Amanita pantherina. The really large size is also a kay feature in identifying. There is also another look-alike worth knowing called Chlorophyllum molybdites, but this species is rare in Europe.
Next time, if you find just-opened, worm-free ones, just chop them and toss them on a pan together with butter and onion. (Actually, I was expecting you to do that in this video and was really confused when you just decorated your house with it…). It’s a really, really good to eat!
More information about parasol muhroom when you pop the name ”Macrolepiota procera” to wikipedia or google.

@@MrWildNature We in the north are are more mycophilic by culture, so we tend to appreciate, know and use them more. Of course, learn to know your mushrooms and only use the ones you know, but yes, consider yourself lucky for finding them, and they might be worth looking into more now that you know what they are. 🙂

Looks similar to the huts erected by traveling charcoal burners until the 1960s, to live and sleep in it during the 2 to 3 weeks it took to build, fire up, and contol the burn of charcoal kilns somewhere in the forests.

Whenever the world weighs too heavily on my mind, I go into nature and find peace there. Peace is precious and people value what is precious to them, if we all spent more time in nature and less time worrying and fighting, we would all live in a better world. The pine forest there is beautiful and I really like your shelter, I'm know the pine trees smell wonderful! I love the rocks and I'm sure that sitting there, looking out at the views was amazing. I was stunned to see those giant mushrooms!! I tried researching to find out what they were but didn't find any information that I thought was accurate. What an awesome discovery! I wonder if the shepard you talked to in the highlands would know what species of mushrooms? I believe that the plants that you found near the creek are watercress and very healthy for you.
I am so glad Ice came back to your camp, I really hope he is okay. Huskies are very independent and from what I've heard, they are hard to train. But Lady stayed by your side to keep you company and protect you. Lady a beautiful dog, both of them are good looking dogs.

Hi. I couldn't remember the name of watercress, in the region where I was, they used to call it (silikumbri) in Latin. I know it is really delicious and healing. I couldn't find the shepherd to ask what that mushroom was, I looked around, but it wasn't there that day, it was the first time I encountered such a mushroom.
I absolutely agree with you that if everyone is intertwined with nature, there will be no war for money or for land.

Эти грибы называют лесной курятиной! Их можно только жарить без варки! Обвалять в муке и жарить на масле. Очень вкусно. Действительно напоминают вкус курятины.

Great shelter and fire pit. I like to see feeding the dogs and supplying water for them. As well as a bit more of your making meals.

Good idea using the rocks. When the fire goes out at night the rocks will still hold heat and keep you warm.

Nice shelter, but I have two doubts.
1 - The tepee is open at the top to allow smoke to escape. This is necessary, but if it rains the rain enters and the water wets the entire interior of the shelter.
2- The cover is made only of branches. Excellent if the weather is calm, but if a strong wind blows the branches risk flying away.
You are right but I stayed for 2 days and I know the weather is good. I have everything with me against the opposite situation.
What an outstanding shelter. Reminded me of the tee-pee's built by the native americans plains people. just goes to show you the amazing similarities of indigenous nomadic people around the world! Those mushrooms were huge, btw, I thought your were gonna eat them!
