There is an innate primordial instinct in every human being to communicate emotions through the body that we are unable to express with words.
The MAPIGO Project is a project that aims to researchi, intercept, examine and strengthen the "impulse to dance", which is typical of African Dances though not exclusive to them.
The project intends to create an opportunity, an alternative point of view, a new prospect, a profession for the many children and young people living in a fragile context.
MAPIGO is a pathway to dance run by the native population, which takes into consideration the dozens of styles, inclinations and rhythmic sequences that make up this choreutic and musical universe that is both complex and extraordinarily "spontaneous".
