Deftones - FYIHYD & Be Quiet And Drive (2nd Version) - Piano

This is my new cover of Deftones' Be Quiet And Drive, played on piano.
The reasons why i did it again are that i found the old one too fast and not very well played. Furthermore, I learned how to play FYIHYD, and tried to join the both together.
You will hear that I play BQAD more slowly, i tried to involve myself into musical expression. I added a new part that you can find in the original acoustic version (B-sides and rarities); It's a kind of short interlude, and i develop it at the end.
The "plus" is the baby grand piano, don't you find the sound better?

Voici ma nouvelle version de Be Quiet And Drive (Deftones) au piano.
J'ai refait cette reprise pour plusieurs raisons: je trouvais l'ancienne trop rapide et pas très bien jouée (quelques accros rythmiques notamment). Depuis j'ai appris à jouer FYIHYD, et j'ai donc essayé de les joindre en un seul morceau (les modes s'enchevêtrent assez bien).
Vous constaterez que je joue BQAD plus lentement, car j'ai voulu y mettre un peu plus de 'musicalité'. Une nouvelle partie a été ajoutée, vous pouvez l'entendre dans la version acoustique de B-sides and rarities. C'est une sorte de petit interlude instrumental, que je développe à la fin.
Le petit plus: le piano demi-queue qui sonne quand même mieux que le droit :)
J'espère donc que vous l'apprécierez, et je tiens à remercier tous ceux qui ont laissé des commentaires sur l'ancienne vidéo, ça me faisait très plaisir à chaque fois que j'en lisais de nouveaux.

Revisiting this. Listened to it constantly years ago. Had this and the first version on my iPod. Amazing!
Back myself, it really is a brilliant work of art.
This is why youtube exists - for unknowns to present their talents and artistic expressions and get people like me who would have never heard of them before to practically beg for more. I never would have thought a Deftones song could be presented like this, its truly amazing. Please whoever you are, more, please. I would love to hear some Tool. Also, as a side note, I'm a huge Diaz fan - 209!

This sounds so damn amazing on piano. You know it's a great song when you strip it down of all the percussion and vocals and it translate into one instrument, and it sounds this damn good.

as a MASSIVE deftones fands im usually very critical of covers and things...but my god....your amazing i love piano and deftones :D you make it perfect! and notice you picked the acoustic version nice touch :D
& it still is, my favourite, & one of the best covers, I've ever laid ears on. A rollercoaster of emotion, pretty like the Deftones songs in general! I have to keep myself from welling'up when I hear this, very powerful.

Effectivement la musique prend toute son ampleur avec ce piano et sans les petits défauts de l'ancienne version. Vraiment excellent ! Tu devrai t'essayer sur d'autre morceau ( genre A Perfect Circle )ou même d'autre style.
