Very nice! Thanks to Qui-Gon's raising and teachings Anakin did NOT turn to the dark side in this what if story! At the end he managed to defeat Palpatine and after becoming part of the Jedi Council Anakin moved to change the Jedi order and make it a more flexible order Qui-Gon would've been proud of. Another better outcome than how it happened in the canon movies!

What if the Ancient native Sith returned during order 66? if the Ancient Sith returned just after order 66 and Vader got put in his suit and when palpatine sends Vader on his first mission, Vader gets led by the dark side and finds the ancient Sith and trains with them? Vader changes his allegiance to the ancient sith. Maybe the kyber crystal in palpatine's lightsaber that he gave Vader pulses and calls out to Vader and Vader removes the kyber from the saber and meditates on it and it gives him a force vision of the ancient sith having returned?
But shmi lasted over a month in the Tuscan camp in the original timeline why would she die after being with them for a couple of hours a day at most though I find Qui-Gon's death moralistic it's still sad but still an amazing story 👍

I believe he did in the Phantom Menace. It wasn't put out there, but alluded to. He couldn't stay due to his mission.
