Get on the bus with NFL players Will Compton & Taylor Lewan! The Boys are letting you in on their hilarious, high-energy (and often heartfelt) conversations. Topics range from exclusive stories to active player perspectives to out-of-left-field hot takes on things you and your friends only discuss behind closed doors. Sometimes they chat with a guest, sometimes it's just the two of them, but it's always a good time when you're Bussin' With The Boys.
And yes, this is the podcast where Mike Vrabel said he'd cut his piece off for a Super Bowl.

I remember the first time I accidentally cussed in front of my dad, which happened to be directed at him before we left for my baseball game. I realized what I had done and looked up and saw his eyes and was like I’m about to get it… hopped out of the truck and got about 3 laps around the outside of the house before he caught me. Needless to say I didn’t talk like that to him again😂

Lmao. My younger brother asked my dad when he was freaking 5 yrs old!!!! Just as calm and normal as you could ask it... he says... " Hey, Dad. Can I say motherf@#%er if Momma is not around?" My Dad goes Nah I don't think that's a good idea! Then my brother says what cuss words can I say? Because I love to cuss. My Dad says I'm going to stick to none. They my brother asks...what if I'm singing or telling a joke? My Dad says I love jokes. Let's hear it. He tells it. It has "damn" in the punchline. My Dad laughs so hard it was stupid. My brother says... can I tell it to you again? I LOVE TO CUSS!!!
This happened right in front of my 6 yr old self. Looking back my Dad was the single coolest human to ever live! Lmao

I remember wrecking a lawn tractor doing some stupid stuff as a kid and my grandmother telling me to go pick my willow - for those who don’t know, it’s a switch or a branch to be hit with. I spent half a day easy out on the farm debating which one I was going to bring back absolutely terrified. When I got back to my grandparents house my grandmother had dinner ready and I ate in silence filled with anxiety over what would happen. My grandmother never hit me with that willow branch and knew that the terror I felt that day picking up branches would be the lesson I needed. As she was more worried I would get hurt doing stupid stuff with farm equipment and more disappointed I didn’t right away tell them I had ruined the machine than angry about it. 25+ years later I am still remembering this lesson.

She grabbed my collar and basically turned me in a circle like your training an unruly horse and whipped me from calf to shoulder blade (my dad always warned me she didn't have good aim) the whole time screaming "now why are you runnin? you ain't gone nowhere and you just made this a whole lot worse on yourself! You can discipline kids without hitting them. These stories always make me cringe a little. I often feel like people turn out okay in spite of the fact they got hit as kids, not because of it. Prison is full of guys whose caregivers whipped the crap out of them. They learned that you hurt people to get what you want.
