Bugzy Malone is one of the best storytellers in U.K. rap. This man had quite possibly the worst upbringing. He grew up in Manchester's poorest neighbourhood, saw domestic violence in his house, was expelled from school, was stabbed, joined a gang in order to get a sense of family, went to jail and suffered homelessness. He tells his life stories in his music to educate people on how bad life in poverty is, the struggles everyday people face, and how he is the man he is today.

@Lee Parry I keep hearing about grime, and I've tried to watch Stevie's videos when I was already subscribed but didn't understand what was being said - he has so many of those videos! It's called grime? Ed Sheeran mentioned that in his song with Stormzy (who I never would have even known of had it not been for this channel💜).
That's actually why I have shied away from the UK reactions...I felt so stupid bc I could not understand it. Stevie understood every single word. I was brand new to trying to understand hip hop (and after, what?, two years?, so many times I still feel like it's my first day bc I have no idea what people are talking about...I was raised in cornfields😏). But I've been TRYING to understand hip hop for awhile now. Only with Stevie.

When he really wants to bugzys probably one of the uk's best along with kano and ghetts. The level of flow, the lyrics and deep levelness he actually provides is top tier.

Love your reactions, you dive deep into those lyrics and you bring out that meaning beyond the surface of the song. Are you open to other genres? Silent Planet is a metalcore band that put SERIOUS thought into their lyrics and it comes off as legit poetry. If you read the lyrics on their videos, the singer (Garrett) puts annotations on the lyrics like it's a research paper. People joke that their genre is poeticore or homeworkcore because there's so much meaning in their lyrics. I've found myself digging through the lyrics and annotations listed trying to figure out what his words really mean. I HIGHLY recommend 'Northern Fires' or 'Understanding Love as Loss'. Both songs have deep meaning and even have some hip-hop flow. I think either of those songs would be great for reaction videos, although every single of their songs is deep with philosophical meanings and poetic flow.
