Assembled using the base and both risers to achieve a deeper enclosure. After securing the base and risers together with Faller Expert cement, I applied 2 small drops to attach the speaker to the risers. When the glue was dry, I carefully sealed the entire assembly with siliconized acrylic caulk. Two of these speakers were a part of two 4 speaker close coupled arrangements wired series parallel. The installs were into Athearn RTR hood units. Impressive sound when tuned with a graphic equalizer to tone down the abundant mid range boominess.
I have bought 5 of these now and really like them. I note you say this is what you are using for your installs - how do I get 54400 loksound V4 decoders with this speaker and not the 50333?
This video answered all my questions on how to assemble the speakers thanks very much

How can you tell which side is the negative or positive on those speakers?
Very handy tip, thanks
