I find it interesting that this is the first mv after DFTF because at the very beginning of that mv are meteors in space and the word "history" and then D.O. seeing a light streaking across the sky... then at the end of the mv the spaceship entered a band of light... Did they travel through time and space at the end and this is where they ended up? The new logo looks like light after all...
Remember the individual member planets photos and how they were all on a different members planet... I was trying to see if the members were using the other members power here to match their planets but apart from Chanyeol seemingly using D.O's power, I couldn't see an obvious connection... but that doesn't mean that they aren't all mess up power-wise...
This also gave me similarities to the vcrs from the ElyXiOn concert, where they have lost their powers and are all living separately and have normal jobs while on the run from the Red Force (which Baekhyun also gave us a prequel to in his Light concert vcrs)
The only thing missing from this mv is the eclipse but I find the absence of it very interesting too because the eclipse brings them together and is a positive thing for them and their powers, so what does it mean that there isn't one at all? Is this a parallel EXO that doesn't know they are EXO and is just existing in the world but weird stuff keeps happening to them or is this past EXO that have been separated, either by choice or by force... I'm so curious!
I wonder what the title track is going to show us and how (or if) this is connected!

Good for you, Anitra. Don't apologize for being you. Cry, pause, spaz...do everything you want to do. This is a HUGE deal in EXO-Planet, I think we all understand what you are feeling, 100%!! Kai is in the other B-side MV, but he was already enlisted when they filmed the title track MV, unfortunately. However, he is on the whole album. So we get to hear him. This MV was literally everything. If this is a sign of what is to come, this comeback is going to break the world.
And this is why EXO will always be my ULT GROUP IN KPOP ❤❤❤. SM should thank their lucky stars they have such talent!

I also immediately thought of Channie's part in 'What Is Love' MV when I saw the rock. A few more things: Why is it that, even though the rock is coming out from the water, when Baekhyunnie sees it it's actually going back into the sea? What in the multiverse is happening here?! Also, why is Kai not teleporting and, instead, running to find the dog? And when they show the rock coming out of planet earth, it appears as if both these things are inside the ocean. So happy there are multiple layers - within the MV, the lyrics, and the vocals.
Furthermore, D.O. (and Sehun) said in the Get Set video that the MV also represents them moving away and come back together. Maybe the world falling apart is a reflection of how they were separated over the past few years and that's how their world felt. Now that they're together, everything's healing & getting back to being a whole.

i completely understand your emotions. exo has been there for me through everything for 10 years. when i was at rock bottom, they were one of the only things that brought me peace and happiness. i've grown so much alongside them. it seems like every time something huge happens in my life, exo has a milestone, too. even now, i'm trying to learn to stand up for myself more. seeing what cbx is doing right now is another reminder that if exo can get through anything, so can i. when i saw the tagline for this album was "we exist in every moment of yours," i lost it because that's so true for me. i couldn't be more proud of them, and i'm going to cherish this comeback like i did all the others.

Storywise, I've always assumed Kai was the one who absorbed Tao's time control powers but I guess not cause contrary to other members he looked surprised and clueless.. I felt like in this mv Sehun was the one turning back the time..
Also I don't get how the dog is related to all this.. Is it a reference to their wolf era or something? Also why it was a metal junk that fell onto Kai's car and not a meteor?
