On top of the increased ability accuracy (which isn't very useful in most places, except against certain nodes or against domino), the awakened ability also gives increased potency for her spells. So it does increase her damage and survivability. But, again, not entirely necessary.
His block damage is so crazy I feel like this the only way to one shot him. Kushala just dies from chip damage whenever I try
