I was feeling down when I saw the April 1 user darts post was normal, but then I saw your note about the new video, it did not disappoint! Great fools day video, and you even threw them well! I was laughing so hard, every throw sounded like the dart was coming apart with all the clicking and clacking.
As soon as you said cricket is strategic, I understood. I still have two sets of hammerheads and power points. From the late 80’s and early 90’s. Bravo
I’m pretty blown away by some of this new technology I didn’t know existed lol. I’m very surprised at the classic features of your custom dart I would have thought would have been different based on what I know about you. For one, I expected a plain ol tungsten dart with multi rings. The knurl and the paint definitely surprised me!

@@lukacvetkovic8836 They're not needed if you fix the actual issue. The lip where the point meets the barrel is what causes the majority of damage to most flights. Get rid of that lip and your flights should last months. Also, flight protectors look horrible imo. Reminds me of the 1990's.

I remember watching your videos of the Gary Anderson darts with the Volute points. Those things were not moving points but have kind of a hollow V-Shape. I specifically remember the sound when those darts landed in the board. Very specific and unusual sound. Well now back to these darts. Did anyone hear the sound when they enter the board. Many things moving, bending, and spinning. To me they sounded like a Tambourine!
Interesting set of Darts there, I think the bounce out was it hit the other dart at a funny angle, if it hit the board it would have stayed in, as for Cricket in the U.K. we don't play it that much, but i've been giving it a go, great strategic game + good practice on those trebles!, keep up the good work 👍🏼

It's funny because my dad (who's in his 60s) taught me how to play. And would always bring up hammer head/point darts. He always makes it sound like their the greatest thing since sliced bread. And has asked if they are still a thing people use. When in actuality, the boards of today pretty much eliminate any chance of a bounce out. Great video.
Yep, it turns out that we Americans fell for every gimmick in darts back in the day. Funny enough, there's still a lot of people here in the states using a setup like seen in this video.

This video was hilarious! I knew at the 1:30 mark that this was a joke. Flight protectors, spinning flights, aluminum shafts, knurled grip, painted barrels, and movable points. I’ve been a subscriber long enough to know that you hate all of those things! Completely forgot that it was April fools day 😂 the cricket strategy had me rolling as well! 🤣
What an amazing set of darts. It incorporates technology I have never even heard of. I am a little surprised you went for the spinning stems but I guess you pulled out all the stops for this one. I noticed they make their own sound when they hit the dartboard which is unusual. It certainly would be interesting to throw them for a night at dart league. That is of course if you don’t have to answer a million questions about the tech side of them. You did not do the dimensions, weight or where they came from. Maybe that will come out later on an updated video. I will be keeping my eyes peeled for a set of those beauties. You Sir have outdone yourself keeping us informed on new darting technology. Hi I made the set of darts in question, I can sell you a set at a cost of 25,000 euros. Expensive yes but this is cutting edge technology were talking about that the U.S army is interested in
Great job on duping me. I did notice a couple of things that I thought were a little off but not enough to throw up a red flag. The presentation of the product was well done. You never know, now that people have seen these someone could be making them at a much better price. Do you have a patent? Something to think about.

Got to say I was surprised by some of the gadgetry the Hammerhead style points spinning stems but what really got my attention was the flexible stems that is amazing now saying that I have been using the target spin stems for years but Spin and flex sign me up that is a different level thanks worldwide very cool Innovation brother
The ADM “Technology” has been available in the USA for about 20 years. Unfortunately it never caught on as a mainstream gimmick like Hammerhead Points did here in the USA. I don’t think the original supplier “US Darts” even sells them anymore. They have a different thread, NOT 2ba therefore you had to use THEIR darts if you wanted the ADM. I bought a set of these and so did many of my friends and brother in laws back in the day. Since they don’t have 2ba Male Threads you cannot use them on standard barrels. I also don’t think US Darts sells the barrels that fit these anymore so everyone is simply out of luck. Seemed like a great idea but it never took off. I think the manufacturer US Darts quit making them but I could be wrong on this. Funny how so many people wanted to know how to get a set and they simply cannot. Maybe if everyone emails US Darts showing some kind of interest they may start making them again, or NOT. I think they purposely designed them to only ever be used with THEIR darts. That may have been their downfall with this concept.

Great review and a nice looking set of darts never seen the ADM system before but I've had a set of darts with the moving point system I believe the darts were old Red Dragon Ross Montgomery thunderbolt darts! Also seen Harrows darts with moving points too!

You showed the new features, not sure if I like the flexible shaft though, almost looks like a cheap set of plastic darts when they hit the board! No specs, Weight, length, how grippy, cost, etc..
Noticed that after my post. Didn’t like any of those features anyway. I have noticed that some of the women professionals use darts the seem to wobble after hitting the board though. Thought I heard one announcer say that they were flexible tips, and it was not April 1st. Didn’t like those either???
@@rondouglas5147 Those points you're seeing are One80 Reflex points. A super thin point fixed point. It wobbles because it's so thin but doesn't move in and out like the gimmicky points seen in this video. I tried them for a little bit but they broke after less than a month of use. I didn't like them at all.

Those certainly are a surprising set of darts for you. 1.) I thought you weren’t a fan of the knurled barrels? You said (in another video) all darts made in the U.S. are knurled and you dislike that. Where did you have them made?🙂 2.) I thought you had said spinning flights were gimmicky and you seen no difference between them and standard flights (paraphrasing here) in a past review you did. 3.) That blunt nose cone. Where’s the streamlined nose cone? The Tridents? Maybe that’s not possible with the collapsing tip darts? I don’t know. I am a fan of the collapsing points like the Hammerhead darts. That ADM feature is neat and new to me, haven’t seen that before.

Does the shaft pivot thing not move when throwing the dart at all or only move when something makes contact with it? Cool looking dart though
It kind of moves all over the place. It's not totally floppy but it definitely moves at the slightest touch
I do like the spin on the flight but I think for me personally I'd get annoyed with the shaft
What advantage do you think you get from a spinning flight? Also, are you American?

The only thing these are missing is that magnetic feature. The darts referee reviewed some magnetic darts that automatically throw 180s every time

Correct. RD sold them several years ago. I always meant to get a set as I really liked the nose cone on the Montgomery darts.

Those certainly are a surprising set of darts for you. 1.) I thought you weren’t a fan of the knurled barrels? You said (in another video) all darts made in the U.S. are knurled and you dislike that. Where did you have them made?🙂 2.) I thought you had said spinning flights were gimmicky and you seen no difference between them and standard flights (paraphrasing here) in a past review you did. 3.) That blunt nose cone. Where’s the streamlined nose cone? The Tridents? Maybe that’s not possible with the collapsing tip darts? I don’t know. I am a fan of the collapsing points like the Hammerhead darts. That ADM feature is neat and new to me, haven’t seen that before.

But what's bad about flight protectors, bendy stems, spinning steams and retractable points (if that is even a thing)? I don't use any of those "technologies" by the way.
