- Opening nuances can make or break your position! In this game, we reach a Caro-Kann structure-but with an extra pawn move for each side. While that might seem minor, these subtle differences completely change the position. I carefully navigate the nuances, spot the key imbalances, and punish my opponent’s inaccuracies. Watch and learn how to adjust your play when the opening takes unexpected turns!
what’s really great about this channel is that while top moves are played on the highest level the explanation levels with almost every viewer…unlike some great masters who takes for granted some understanding of certain lines and don’t show it or explain it in details leaving someone, low rated like me, kind of “what was wrong with this or that move?” Thank you coach for providing world class instructive chess content …very grateful
Thanks for the kind comments!
Andras, stumbled upon your channel last week, really glad I did. I started playing chess March 2024, and hit my plateau at 1500 this winter. Your videos were exactly what I'm looking, I'm a fan of the "know thy classics". Keep up the great work. Thank you!
Great video again Coach, i love the speedrun videos. Really wish there were more frequent!
Like most greats you make this look so easy!
Thank you! Cheers!
Good game and lesson!! It's nice to hear from an IM acknowledging that it is not always possible to prevent the enemy king from castling, when the opponent teases you with lemon moves

Qc3!! Hanging rook with the mate threat. You ARE a cheeky bastard!
andras: take note i'm definitely not a pawn hunter
Good video!
Thank you.. my goal in chess is one day to be able to think clearly and concisely!
Keep practicing, you'll get there!
Is that special silver coffee for robots that you're drinking?!?
Perfect carnage

Hey Andras, could I please play against you in this series? I am ated 1580
Question: What about b5 instead of Qc7?
I would just develop with Nf3. You?
Nf6
I would answer b5 with a4.
If that's the case I would go Nd7
